We booked a 3 hour tour for the Gion Matsuri festival. The biggest festival of the year in Japan! Needless to say it was incredibly crowed. Fuji-san was our guide and was absolutly amazing. She covered every little detail, from start to finnish. She made sure we knew where to go & how to get there & what to expect from the festival and wheather that day. Fuji-san went way above and beyond to make sure my family and i were comfortable and happy with the experience. She guided us and another family through the crazy crowd to our seating with percision and care for all our needs and wants. She made sure we had ice cold drinks, sun protection, fans for cooling for our comfort. No other guide that seen brought their guests ice cold breverages. They did provide a goodie bag" w/drinks and other items for consumption but, were not cold. It was 95*F/35*C. This woman even esscorted us back to our train stop to make certain we made it back safely. Fuji was the best guide a family could ask for!
Fuji-San was a wonderful guide for the Gion festival. She was thoughtful and kind. Fuji-SAN explained the significance of this annual festival and secured incredible seats for us to watch the procession. it was a true highlight of our trip to Japan. Thank you Fuji-san
Fuji-San was incredibly kind and welcoming upon arrival. She was prompt and very flexible with our wants and needs, showed us a great time and even though the weather was unpredictable, we had a fun time experiencing a sacred festival!
