Reviews
100000000/10!! I booked this kimono renting service without them having any reviews here in Klook (they are new to Klook but if you check them on Google Maps, they already have reviews~) I took the risk and it was definitely worth it! They have an English speaker, Japanese, Thai, and other asian languages. They were so nice!! The kimono selection are awesome, too! If you are on a day tour to Kyoto (Kiyomizudera) this is a good choice since they are very near to the bus parking lot! Will definitely come here again next time. Thank you so much!!~~
The address was weirdly written, so even though my reservation was at 11:30 AM, I kept searching and finally found it at 1:30 PM... (6 Chome-583-109 Gojobashihigashi, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0846 Japan) Please take note... When I went, there were about 4 staff members, which was a lot, and they dressed me in the yukata themselves. They really knew how to get the fit right and were professional, which was great. It says that simple hair styling is included, but it didn't seem like it. So, I just paid an extra 15,000 won to get it styled and was completely satisfied... I have a short layered cut and have had magic perm, so I was worried about whether my hair could be tied up properly, but they styled it so meticulously, which was really great 🥹🫶🏻🫶🏻. They even asked me before spraying hairspray, and they really made sure it wouldn't come undone, so it didn't come undone until I got to the hotel lol. The yukata was also really cheap at 2.3, so I was worried that there would only be weird patterns, but there were many pretty designs, which was great!! You can also wear wooden sandals (geta), and bags and fans can be rented for free, but the fans were in the upper compartment of the bag, so I didn't see them and couldn't rent one... Everyone, look carefully and take one..!! Seeing that many couples come here, it seems like the men's yukata also have a decent variety. Oh, and the more expensive yukata types seem to be silk. The kind where you can tell it's worth the price just by looking at it... They were really pretty though.
the location is near to kiyomizudera, about 400m, which make this kimono rental place the nearest to kiyomizudera. the staffs are so lovely, sweet, and kind. most of them speaks and understand english. they also work fast, it took me about 30 minutes to get ready (i only book for kimono and hairstyling). there are many variations of kimonos to choose from, i love how elegant, royal, and beautiful the kimonos are. now i kinda miss wearing them now. definitely a worth to rent kimonos from this place!
The Kyoto Kimono Rental Experience was great! Wearing traditional kimonos to roam around the ancient city, you can feel the Japanese culture, take beautiful photos, and the staff are friendly, which will leave you with unforgettable memories!
The location is good near Kiyomizudera Temple, there are many clothes, the service is good and there is no queue. Good location near Kiyomizu Temple, lots of clothes, good service and no queues
The store is very nice and the service attitude is very good. There will be a next time. There are many styles of clothes. The package is very favorable.
There are many kimono rental shops, so don't miss the end of Google Maps. I went to the wrong placesㅜㅜ If you get your hair styled nicely, it costs an additional 1,500 yen per person. But I'm satisfied because they did it nicely.
service is great, the photographer will help you to pose and will take you to less crowded places
overall service is great, i also love how the hairstylist is very detailed my preferred style
They have a great selection of kimonos, and the staff are very helpful in choosing matching hairstyles, which turned out beautifully! 🤩
