Hualien: One-Day Tour of Qixingtan Beach, Yoshina House, and Liyu Lake (Departure from Hualien Railway Station)

What an AMAZING day this was! This tour exceeded all my expectations, and that’s largely thanks to Sam, our incredible tour guide. Sam is like a walking encyclopedia – he knew everything about the area, its history, culture, and so much more. But what truly made it special was how he took the time to involve everyone in the group. He asked us what we wanted, what we needed, and tailored the experience perfectly to match our preferences. It didn’t feel like we were just another group of tourists; it felt like we were on an adventure with a friend. His enthusiasm was absolutely contagious, and now I can’t wait to book another tour! Thumbs up for guide/driver Sharon for her great hospitality. She was very knowledgable in the geography and history of Taiwan and greatly enhanced the experience of our trip.

Sam is very patient and friendly. I listened to him telling many local stories about Hualien. My boyfriend and I came from the other side of the strait. I hope to have the opportunity to visit Hualien in other seasons and the renovated Taroko in the future.
