Things to do in Osaka Castle

This is well worth it. Beleive me it was a hot day and last thing is having to line up and wait in a massive Queue. This place gets packed. Great thing if u book/make a reservation you skip these lines. It was a great experience they even had spray machines for you on way up to cool yourself down. They also have souvenir shops inside the castle to buy memorabilia. Its quite a massive space to explore and you get a good glimpse of history and the area is just magnificent to be in. You can also pay for boat trip down the river & other excursions. Wonderful experience.

This place is amazing! I don't know the booking details for the tickets, but I want to go on every ride and visit Nintendo. The all-inclusive ticket covers admission, the train, and various passes. I definitely got my money's worth. It's worth the price, so go ahead and buy it. One ticket does it all!

Hide was a fantastic guide. We would never have learnt as much without him. I thoroughly recommend this tour. We did the tour with our 2 teenage children and we all really enjoyed it.

We found the one day Osaka Amazing pass worthwhile. We scanned the QR code from my phone at subway stations for both myself and my partner one by one, it was so convenient. We planned our journeys using Google maps according to trains listed so as to make it worthwhile. First we did Umeda Sky building for viewing from its observatory deck, then the Tsutenkutu tower observation deck. We did not do the sky walk there or the slide. I did have trouble bringing up my Klook App here as I was getting no internet. They dont have wifi, only in nearest McDonald's to see the QR code. We eventually managed to log in via the website. Next we took trains to Osaka Castle. Afterwards we used the pass to do the Gozabune boat ride after exchanging our QR code for a timed ticket. Went back via a road train which we paid senior(over 65) rate of ¥200. Our final activity for the day was the Tombori river cruise in Dotonbori area. Highly recommend this day pass.

We arrived a little early but the staff were so kind and quick to help us! once we set foot into the store, there was a wide variety of options of kimonos in different patterns and fabrics. I ended up paying a little extra for a premium kimono because I loved the color! Putting on the kimono was very thorough, and I was happy with the attention to detail as well as the check in on how comfortable it was! After, I got my hair done, and also picked a premium option. I was so happy with the style and accessories offered! I loved the final product and appearance! I would definitely recommend this shop to a friend!

It is located under the green bridge. If you search for Wonder Cruise on Google Maps, it will come up. With upbeat music, the host tried hard to keep the atmosphere lively, and since the boat makes a U-turn on the river, you can get a great view of the Glico Man sign whether you sit on the right or the left. They also stop briefly in front of it so everyone can take pictures! For this price, you get to see the night view, enjoy the vibe, and even take photos, so I definitely recommend trying it at least once!

This is a very worthwhile pass. I bought it during a 50% off promotion. You can choose 3 attractions to visit, or shopping/restaurant discount coupons. I used mine for 1 attraction and 2 shopping discount coupons. The total regular price of these three items was more than double the cost of the pass I purchased. It's also very convenient to use; just scan the QR code to enter the attractions, no need to queue up again to exchange for tickets.

very great experience … the driver was so nice .. good service… good communication.. they are always available to answer and give the best service .. me and the group are so happy … the tour was so great

Our 3‑hour tour of Osaka Castle with Marielle was nothing short of exceptional. She combined deep historical knowledge with engaging storytelling, making the centuries of samurai heritage and castle intrigue come alive. Her pacing was perfect — balancing detailed explanations with time to explore and take in the atmosphere. Marielle’s warmth and attentiveness stood out; she anticipated questions, offered thoughtful insights, and ensured everyone felt included. From pointing out hidden architectural details to sharing cultural anecdotes, she transformed the visit into a memorable experience. If you’re visiting Osaka Castle, I wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour with Marielle. She elevates the experience from sightseeing to truly understanding the spirit of the place.
