Lake Shikotsu tours

That was the highlight of my trip to Japan. our guide Tetsu was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. the hotels we stay at were amazing. Itinerary is well thought through, every single spot is breathtaking.

I recently took this one-day tour to Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu, and it was absolutely worth the money. It is a very well-paced itinerary that allowed us to see several of Hokkaido’s most beautiful natural landmarks within a single day without feeling overly rushed. Our guide, Xixi, was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. Not only did she provide great commentary on the sights we visited, but she also shared a wealth of "insider" recommendations for other locations to visit in Hokkaido and pointed us toward the "best in category" restaurants for local food.

Lucy is the most dedicated and responsible tour guide I've encountered in recent years. From departure to our return home, all the itinerary explanations were incredibly clear, allowing us to travel with peace of mind. Lucy provided us with a wealth of knowledge about Hokkaido's history, culture, and culinary scene, ensuring that we not only relaxed comfortably on the bus but also enjoyed comprehensive and fascinating commentary. Our bus driver was also extremely conscientious, with excellent driving skills. He maintained stability even on winding mountain roads. For long-distance bus tours, a reliable driver is essential, and today's driver truly showcased the meticulous and diligent side of the Japanese people. I am very satisfied with this tour, and the itinerary planning offered exceptional value! I will definitely participate again in the future! Today's itinerary was fantastic! The schedule was exactly as described. Lake Toya and Lake Hill Farm were incredibly beautiful, and the bears at the Bear Park were so cute. Especially our guide, David, who was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 He gave us so much information about Hokkaido and each attraction, and his recommendations for food and activities were spot on. He was the best guide we've had during our trip to Hokkaido! We watched the fireworks on the lake, enjoyed a day trip to a Toya Lake onsen (hot spring), ate ice cream and fried chicken, and appreciated the beauty of Hill Farm and Lake Toya. It was a perfect day!

Our guide, Alex, was great and helped to take photos of many of us. He also shared bits and pieces of information about the attractions we went to in English and Chinese. The timings allocated for each attraction was also just nice. For those without transport, this was worth the money.

Everything is excellent in general from transportation perspective, Wei (our driver) was great. Our tour day was cloudy so Mt. Yotei was not seen clearly. The schedule was packed with limited time to tour around if you have any elders with you. When we get to Lake Toya, most of the restaurants were closed, not sure why. We couldn’t get in to one of the opened restaurants because they were closing as well or they just didn’t want to service a group of 6. Everyone were flocked to close by 7 Eleven. Fireworks were acceptable as they repeated the same pattern from the left end and slowly move to the right end. If you don’t take the boat, then you just walk along the lake to view.

I had a wonderful tour experience! Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Kevin for being such an excellent and accommodating tour guide. He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. One thing I especially appreciated was how he took beautiful photos for each of us at every location, helping us capture unforgettable memories from the tour. His professionalism, patience, and dedication truly made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this tour, and we are grateful to Mr. Kevin for making it such a memorable journey. I was the only foreigner in the group, but the tour guide and other group members took good care of me. The headphones had explanations in various languages. Lunch was eaten at a very beautiful hot spring hotel. It is not very convenient to go to Lake Toya from Sapporo, but this one-day tour is still worry-free.
