Excursii Lake Shikotsu

That was the highlight of my trip to Japan. our guide Tetsu was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. the hotels we stay at were amazing. Itinerary is well thought through, every single spot is breathtaking.

I recently took this one-day tour to Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu, and it was absolutely worth the money. It is a very well-paced itinerary that allowed us to see several of Hokkaido’s most beautiful natural landmarks within a single day without feeling overly rushed. Our guide, Xixi, was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. Not only did she provide great commentary on the sights we visited, but she also shared a wealth of "insider" recommendations for other locations to visit in Hokkaido and pointed us toward the "best in category" restaurants for local food.

Excursia de astăzi a fost fantastică! Programul a fost exact ca în descriere, lacul Toya și ferma Lake Hill sunt ambele superbe, iar urșii de la ferma de urși sunt atât de drăguți. Ghidul, David, a fost pur și simplu minunat! 👍👍 Ne-a oferit o mulțime de informații despre Hokkaido, despre fiecare atracție, iar recomandările sale despre locuri bune de mâncat și de distracție au fost perfecte. Este cel mai bun ghid pe care l-am întâlnit în aceste zile de călătorie în Hokkaido! Am privit focurile de artificii de pe barcă, am făcut o baie la izvoarele termale de o zi din lacul Toya, am mâncat înghețată și pui prăjit și am admirat ferma de pe deal și lacul Toya. O zi perfectă!

Ghidul nostru, Alex, a fost excelent și ne-a ajutat să facem fotografii multora dintre noi. De asemenea, a împărtășit informații despre atracțiile pe care le-am vizitat, atât în engleză, cât și în chineză. Timpul alocat pentru fiecare atracție a fost, de asemenea, perfect. Pentru cei fără transport, a meritat banii.

Everything is excellent in general from transportation perspective, Wei (our driver) was great. Our tour day was cloudy so Mt. Yotei was not seen clearly. The schedule was packed with limited time to tour around if you have any elders with you. When we get to Lake Toya, most of the restaurants were closed, not sure why. We couldn’t get in to one of the opened restaurants because they were closing as well or they just didn’t want to service a group of 6. Everyone were flocked to close by 7 Eleven. Fireworks were acceptable as they repeated the same pattern from the left end and slowly move to the right end. If you don’t take the boat, then you just walk along the lake to view.

I had a wonderful tour experience! Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Kevin for being such an excellent and accommodating tour guide. He was friendly, attentive, and always made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip. One thing I especially appreciated was how he took beautiful photos for each of us at every location, helping us capture unforgettable memories from the tour. His professionalism, patience, and dedication truly made the experience even more special. We highly recommend this tour, and we are grateful to Mr. Kevin for making it such a memorable journey.
