Actually a great experience with a multilingual guide (Naomi). Timing and guidance was well paced and genuine. The boating activity was excellent and very accessible (and entertaining). There was no end of the day pressuring or "revew begging" from the guides to leave high ratings which really highlighted their professionalism. Thanks for an amazing day.

I had a REALLY great time, Bunny, the tour guide is very very kind and she knows a lot about the places we visited, me and my family are Mexican and we could understand her English very very well. it’s a really beautiful experience and the train is beautiful!! the views are spectacular!

The day before, you'll receive a text message with the meeting point and time. Just arrive on time, and you'll be ready for a pleasant departure. Since it was a combined tour, our guide, Yurika, first introduced everything in English and then explained it in Chinese, which was very thoughtful. At each stop, she clearly announced the meeting time and location, and overall, we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves.

If you're taking the Sagano Romantic Train and then the Hozugawa River Boat Ride, it's best to allow an hour and a half between them. For example, if your train arrives at 11:00 AM, book the 12:30 PM boat ride. After getting off the train, there will be signs directing you through a tunnel to the bus stop. The bus will make a brief stop and then go directly to the Hozugawa River Boat Ride building. There's a small shop where you can buy snacks and drinks; definitely buy something to drink, as the boat shop won't appear for about an hour and a half after you board. The boatman on our trip was very entertaining, likely a veteran, and interacted well with the passengers. When we encountered rapids, he would playfully warn passengers about a little splashing. You won't get completely soaked, as there are tarps for cover. Throughout the journey, the boatman spoke a mix of Japanese and short English phrases, and also used gestures to point out the local wildlife. The boat ride is spectacular and highly recommended.

Very fun and informative experience, the staff is friendly and helpful. The host is charismatic and the experience of watching a live sumo show is priceless!! Recommended!! By the way they include drinks so you can enjoy the show and not worry about those yourself

We thoroughly enjoyed the Kyoto Akashiyama Fushimi Inari and Nara Deer Day Tour. Our tour guide Willa was very professional, knowledgeable and well organised. A WhatsApp group was created for tour participants so that all important information was shared promptly to ensure a smooth day. The highlight was the Nara deer experience, where we enjoyed hand-feeding the deer. The tour ran to time and guests were advised to be promptly back to the bus at all stops. Please keep this in mind when booking a tour in Japan, as punctuality is critical to avoid missing your bus. Overall, the tour was great value and we felt there was sufficient time for sightseeing at all stops. It was incredibly busy at each stop on the tour due to the Silver Week holiday in Japan during September, and was not a reflection of the tour company itself. We would highly recommend this as a day tour for any travellers visiting Osaka. Thanks for a great experience Willa.
