Upon arriving at the Nagoya Aquarium entrance, I saw a long line at the ticket counter. I immediately purchased tickets through the app, and within a minute, I had a QR code for direct entry, which was incredibly convenient. Although the aquarium's decor seemed a bit dated, the conservation information provided by the facility was very detailed, giving me an excellent lesson on marine life.

I applied for the Shirakawa-go & Takayama tour while I was in Nagoya, and it was fantastic! The ice cream I had at Hirugano Kogen had a rich milky flavor that I really enjoyed. Takayama's charming alleys and the beef ramen that was recommended to me both exceeded my expectations. Shirakawa-go, with its quaint houses nestled among lush green scenery, made it clear why it's a UNESCO World Heritage site! Although the observatory view was disappointing due to the fog, the ice cream alone made it completely worthwhile! The charming alleys of Takayama were very pretty, and the morning market along the river was fun to explore. The ramen our guide recommended was also very tasty, haha. It's very convenient for immediate use. The aquarium is quite large, and the viewing areas are bigger and more numerous than usual. About three hours should be plenty of time for your visit.
