Yufu

It was a smooth, relaxed and enjoyable day trip! Our guide, Lina is nice, friendly, patient, attentive and gives clear instructions in English and Mandarin guiding us throughout the trip and also recommends places to go for food around Hakata Station. Enjoy the day tour at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, Beppu ropeway, Kirin lake, Yufuin Floral Village is nice and charming. It has nice shops like Studio Ghibli, Snoopy, Miffy and many more. Recommend 👍. The whole rides to and fro is comfortable and pleasant too!

Our tour guide, Pandora, was very helpful and made a difference in our day trip. She recommended what to do at each stop and also shared some factoids on each location. She also made a decision to add a rest stop when there was a bad jam back to Fukuoka, which was a godsend as many of us needed the toilet. The overall experience was very good. Highly recommended.

This trip was truly unforgettable. The guide Chen was incredibly kind and attentive, and the driver was polite and drove safely. Everything was great! The whole package was worth it and very well organized. Our tour guide was really kind,helpful, and knowledgeable, which made the trip even more enjoyable. No hassles at all — definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

The tour guide was very kind and the explanations were very detailed, and the stay time was just right. The zoo itinerary was especially unexpected. We didn't miss any large animals and got better pictures than from the cage car. Feeding the ponies was also very satisfying, and their gluttonous appearance was incredible. Watching the cat house was also quite wonderful. The souvenir shop had many cute photos and plush toys for sale. It's just a pity that the autumn leaves at Kinrin Lake had already withered, otherwise it would have been even more perfect. As for the Yufuin itinerary, if it weren't for the tour guide's explanation, we might have missed the entrance to the side street. The tour guide was really helpful. The only thing is that if you don't need to pre-purchase attraction tickets, it should be stated in the order. If Kinrin Lake has autumn leaves, the itinerary could add half an hour in Yufuin.

On 12/12/2025, I participated in a day tour. The number of stone sculptures collected at Nyoirin-ji Temple was amazing. There was ample time to visit Yufuin and the Beppu Hells. The only small regret is that the season was a little late, and most of the maple leaves 🍁 had already fallen. The tour guide, Lily, notified us in advance via Line, explained everything in detail along the way, recommended snacks and delicacies, and also shared restaurant experiences in the Hakata area. Highly recommended! It was a pleasant day trip! However, a suggestion for future tour members: the grilled mushrooms in Yufuin require a long wait. The owner operates alone and is not fast, so those who want to eat grilled mushrooms should be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting in line!! If I could choose again, I would choose to explore the area more, rather than waiting in line all the time.

I had an amazing experience at Yufuin! I wish I had more time to walk around at the onsen, but I still managed to take some great photos. The mountain scenery was breathtaking, and the village itself was visually stunning. The highlight of my trip was the train ride back to Hakata station. If you’re in the Kyushu area, especially Fukuoka, I highly recommend visiting Yufuin.

Guide 'Jjujju's' trilingual skills (Korean, Japanese, Chinese) are truly at a perfect native speaker level. This was the first overseas trip for my high school classmates who have turned 40. We still had some childlike innocence left, so we booked the tour because we really wanted to go to the safari. The atmosphere of the serene Yufuin, which was the first course, was so nice, and the safari, which was the next course, was more enchanting than expected, and the last hot spring course was perfect. The explanation and guidance throughout the tour were perfect, with nothing missing. The driver also felt like a veteran. We had such a good time that we regretted the time passing, and it was a tour that I would definitely recommend to others. Next time, I will definitely come back with my family (especially with my parents, it would be the best for a filial piety trip). I think we also met good people on the tour, and since we were a group of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English speakers, we were assigned two guides, both of whom were really the best. In particular, our Korean guide, 'Jjujju,' worked so hard and was so grateful for taking care of us immature people. It was my first Fukuoka trip, and I am grateful for making good memories. Participating in this trip with a 50% discount was extremely cost-effective! The itinerary, from 8:00 AM to the arrival at Hakata Station at 6:30 PM, allowed for a full day of enjoyment. The itinerary and transportation arrangements were very smooth! The 3-hour tour of Yufuin provided ample time to admire the autumn foliage and sample delicious food. In Beppu, in addition to a short visit to the hot springs, there was enough time to soak our feet in the hot springs and taste hot spring eggs, which was a great experience. The only slight drawback was the short amount of time at the final stop, Dazaifu, and the fact that it was almost dusk, with many shops preparing to close. There wasn't enough time to visit the garden with its rich Japanese atmosphere and long history, which was a bit of a pity!
