Things to do in Nagoya

Suesy was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable, her energy made a rainy day much better. However hiking in the rain, I missed much of the scenery due to fog, was absolutely drenched as well. Proper rain gear and waterproof shoes are recommended for rainy days. Otherwise a cool experience.

excellent tour with a good pace, 5 hour tour in the Ghibli Park was more than enough to explore the must see sights. Unforunately the entry ticket for Howl's moving castle was sold out on the day of visit, but it still was a nice experience to immerse yourself in the world of Studio Ghibli. Only a small fee to enter Witches' house etc, but it was worth it if you wish to see the house in real life. the frand warehouse has a little threatre and the 20 min show was excellent. What's even more commendable is that Xiao Yu (Yukino) proactively offered to take photos for the group members! Not every tour leader does this, and it was a huge bonus! Driver Mr. Sun also drove very smoothly and safely, and his demeanor was very friendly. Additionally, I must mention that the fellow travelers on this tour were of very high quality; everyone was incredibly punctual and polite, making the entire trip exceptionally smooth. An impeccable professional team, combined with excellent fellow travelers, created a top-quality travel experience. If you're planning to book a two-day tour to Tateyama Kurobe and Kamikochi, choosing this tour is definitely the right decision!

Since these locations are over two hours from Nagoya by car, it is definitely worth joining a local tour. The guide was excellent—responsible, well-organized, and provided plenty of free time, which was more than enough for the visit. I loved the first stop the most, it is well worth the trip. The 'Silver Clock' meeting point is very easy to find, and the maps and suggestions provided by the guide were detailed and easy to follow. They also set up WhatsApp and WeChat groups to ensure seamless communication throughout the day.

Great experience overall! The attractions and activities are perfect for young kids, and they had a fantastic time. Best of all, there were virtually no queues, making the whole visit smooth, relaxing, and highly recommended for families with little ones!

Great aquarium with lots of dolphins, 2 belugas and an orca, which is not easily seen elsewhere. Good value for money for families with children who love animals. Lots of interesting information which you can use Google Translate as some of the information are in Japanese only.

Easily book your tickets with Klook and enter without waiting. Nagoya Castle has a completely different feel from Osaka Castle. Above all, I loved the scent of wood inside the building, and the elaborate patterns and paintings in each room were impressive. The staff were also very kind, which made the visit enjoyable. If you're visiting Nagoya, you should definitely go to Nagoya Castle. Klook states that the adult admission fee will increase from 500 yen to 1,000 yen starting October 1st.
