Review: Snow, Sledding, and Serenity at Bokka no Sato Date of Tour: March 11, 2026 Route: Day Trip from Nagoya Rating: ★★★★★ If you are looking for a day trip from Nagoya that feels like a true escape, the Bokka no Sato (Maki no Sato) and Hot Spring tour is a must. I went with my two sisters, and it was an experience we will never forget! The Highlights * Snow Sledding Fun: Even in mid-March, we were thrilled to find enough snow to play in! My sisters and I had the best time sledding down the slopes. It was so much fun—we felt like kids again, laughing and enjoying the crisp mountain air. It was a highlight that really made the day special for the three of us.
This tour is by Easy Go and the meeting place is at Silver Clock - inside Nagoya Station. We really wanted to enjoy snow at Bokkanosato so we’re very glad that enough people signed up to make this trip possible. Taking public transport there would be a challenge, and self-drive would be too dangerous given the slippery road conditions. The coach was nice, clean and comfortable. And the scenery along the way was pretty. No toilet stop enroute to the destination so make sure to empty your bladder before boarding time. Sufficient time to do the rides, play with snow, take photographs, have lunch, feed the animals, shop for goodies. Scenery is mesmerising. Onsen afterwards was great too. No regrets joining this winter tour. Wonderful Winter Wonderland…
Mugezhili is a beautiful and fun place; the children had a great time. The hot spring facilities are also excellent, with many types of hot spring pools that are clean and comfortable. There's no need to drive yourself; you can just take a ride and relax once you arrive. The tour guide from the travel company was very helpful in resolving issues and providing assistance when problems arose. The driver arranged for us drove smoothly and was polite and responsible. Klook also actively helped with any issues, making this a pleasant and successful day trip.
This trip was very well arranged. The tour leader was very patient. Most of the passengers on the bus were sleeping, and to avoid disturbing them, the tour leader squatted down row by row to explain the itinerary in detail. Playing in the snow at Bokka no Sato was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the snow was too hard, making it difficult to make ducks and bears with the molds. However, it was worth it. The hot spring water temperature was great, and the outdoor hot spring was also very comfortable.
The journey was very comfortable, with a private car for round trip transportation. You can see beautiful snow scenery, which is very suitable for families to go together, and it is also very comfortable to soak in the hot springs afterwards.
I joined the trip in last minute as I really want to go to Bokku No Sato - The guide (Ricky-san) was very hepful and were able to address all of our concerns and is very willing to go beyond his duty just to carry out our needs. He is trying his best to understand and communicate effectively on a diverse joiners on the tour. The only thing I will review negatively was that we wer not be able to enjoy all the activitives listed as there was not enough snow in the place, but I know the management cant do anything with the weather. All in all - I enjoyed this trip special thanks to Ricky
The environment is perfect for children to ski, making both adults and children happy. There's also an animal area with cows, alpacas... and finally, soaking in the hot spring is such a treat!
Guide didn’t do much but itinerary was great. Sufficient time for snow play and onsen. great trip! Bus was comfy!
