Things to do in Kanchanaburi Province

Need minimum 6 pax for tour to proceed. Meet up was 10 mins before departure (8am), in a van (up to 10 pax). Given mineral water bottle each. Safari park includes the bus tour (with giraffes feeding at bus) and both crocodile show and elephant show. We paid additional 100baht (2 bowls of carrots) to feed giraffes/ deers/ zebras during bus tour, as well as 1000baht /pax for giraffe encounter (take pic with giraffes and zebras on a 4x4 vehicle, 1000baht/pax to take pic with baby lion (else can opt for 800baht for big lion). All extras can only be paid by cash at entrance of safari world. We love the train ride (4 stops) on death railway as it’s scenic on a very old train. Walk along small portion of death railway to a cave, and the River Kwai. Fruits (pomelo) sold there are cheap and sweet. Early dinner at Cafe, before heading back (arrived CentralWorld around 8.30pm).

This private tour is really worth it. You get to see the best of Kanchanaburi. We rode the train at the Death Railway and the boat on River Kwai. Our tour guide Miss Yimm was very knowledgeable and helpful. She helped us take pics and videos. She also asked where we wanted to be dropped off and we said One Bangkok instead of the hotel and it was all good.

An extraordinary, once in a lifetime adventure! Champ was a gracious and informative guide. Spectacular scenery from start to finish. Even the long drive to the Bridge provided breathtaking views of rolling and jutting mountains. The zoo and giraffe feeding was one of the highlights.

We had a great time with the Kanchanaburi multiple route private tour booked through Klook. The itinerary was exceptional, well planned, and we were fully informed throughout the booking process. A special thanks to Ton, our tour guide and driver for the day. He was amazing—although he had some difficulty communicating in English, we were truly impressed by his effort to make sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying the tour. He arrived early at our hotel, drove carefully, and ensured we returned safely. Bonus points for Ton’s photography skills—he took great photos for us and made the experience even more memorable. wonderful lunch buffet by just paying a small amount of additional. the whole day was pretty fruitful especially loving the last cafe so much. the tour guide was neither informative nor looking after the joiners, yet he took nice photos for us!

THE BEST DECISION AND EXPERIENCE WE HAD IN THAILAND!!! no amount of words how happy we were during this trip. It was a whole day itinerary. We were really well-accommodated by the driver from klook and most especially the people from elephant world.

very safe and thorough demonstration that wasn’t too long but still tested that we could be safe on their amazing course. loved the variety and fun the instructors had along the way. there were too many favorites moments but conquering fears in a beautiful safe setting was definitely a highlight.
