Reviews summaryif you want a “quick” day trip.. traffic allowing.. then one of these small bus tours are fun. hit the main spots, transfers to each tourist spot, some fun facts along the way.. quick pictures and stop offs. It’s a great way to have a stress free tour for $60 ish great value. one of the locations cost 500baht - $20 entry alone! all included in your tour price. next time I’ll do the influencer tour it was less crowded as we had a full bus for the standard tour. Tour pro tip get to know your fellow passangers fast don’t wait until 20 mins before the tour is over
We really enjoyed this day tour! The itinerary was well-paced, with enough time to explore each stop without feeling rushed. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and even helped us take some great photos along the way. The weather was incredibly hot, but the guide was very thoughtful and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to rest, grab cold drinks, and cool down. The free dessert was also a lovely surprise and definitely appreciated. Overall, it was a fun and well-organised tour. Highly recommended!
Wonderful Kanchanaburi experience! View from skywalk, boatride along historic River Kwai and the train ride in historic Death Railway were amazing! 😊 Our guide, Cindy, is an excellent tour guide. Thanks as well to the tour driver. Definitely recommended tour outside Bangkok!

there’s so much to see and the local guide, Ms Cindy, packed everything in at a comfortable pace and furnished us with her knowledge of the various attractions. she’s patient and responsible. the driver is also efficient and safe. the entire day was pleasant and enjoyable.
Leaving the hustle and bustle of Bangkok for Kanchanaburi, the pace immediately slows down. This place offers not only beautiful scenery but also a profound historical memory. Walking across the Bridge over the River Kwai, watching the railway tracks stretch into the distance, it's hard to imagine the arduous past this place once bore. In the afternoon, taking a small train on the Death Railway, as the train slowly passes along the edge of a cliff, with a sheer drop on one side and a rushing river on the other, the visual impact and sense of awe intertwine, creating the most unforgettable moment of this journey. Returning to a floating house on the river in the evening, with the gently flowing water beneath your feet, there are no excessive neon lights, only the sounds of nature's insects and birds. Kanchanaburi's charm isn't in luxury, but in its ability to calm the mind and offer a genuine sense of dialogue with time and space.
Our small group of six, led by tour guide Chris, had an easy and enjoyable experience. 📍 Kanchanaburi Ancient City Wall Pakprak Heritage Street: Tour guide Chris provided very professional introductions and arrangements. 📍 Bridge over the River Kwai Exploring the Bridge over the River Kwai, built during World War II, was very meaningful. 📍 Keeree Mantra Restaurant 🍽️ A wonderful lunch surrounded by natural scenery. 📍 Tham Krasae Death Railway Bridge Walk along the wooden railway bridge on the cliffside. 📍 Old Death Railway Station Experience the Death Railway train. 📍 Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree) The Giant Raintree (Monkey Pod Tree) is truly enormous. 📍 Mueang Kan Coffee ☕️ The perfect spot to order a Thai drink 🍹 and gaze at the Tiger Temple, bringing a perfect end to this journey.
I had Alex for the tour guide. He was helpful and kept us all on schedule. I enjoyed the different modes of transportation. We rode the railroad, walked the railway tracks, took a boat across the town and even got to visit the old town with WWII memorabilia. It's a fun tour. Definitely go.
This private tour is really worth it. You get to see the best of Kanchanaburi. We rode the train at the Death Railway and the boat on River Kwai. Our tour guide Miss Yimm was very knowledgeable and helpful. She helped us take pics and videos. She also asked where we wanted to be dropped off and we said One Bangkok instead of the hotel and it was all good.
