Madrid Day trips

My husband and I truly enjoyed the trip. The meeting place was easy to locate because it was available on Google Maps. Since it was our first time in Spain, we felt that we needed more time to stay in each place before moving on to the next. 😅 But since it was a group tour, we had to follow the schedule. Overall, I highly recommend this package!

Experienced wise is absolutely amazing, great place to visit and explore the historic city of Toledo. Meeting point is easy to locate, and bus is comfortable though a lots of tourists which we we’re divided into 2 group English / Spanish group speaking..kinda messy at first but everything went well..we took the activity with bracelets wherein you can enter in some monuments, but then since Toledo is amazingly pretty for photas, videos we totally forgot and we don’t have much time to explore yet we only visited one monuments, next time we can skip the monuments visit..Highly recommended to visit Toledo while in madrid..love the experienced ❤️ ❤️ Thanks to Javier the tour guide in Toledo friendly and accommodating 🙌🏻

This is a must while visiting Madrid and Julia travels is pretty good 👍🏻 customer service, friendly service..MATEO our tour guide he was amazing and accommodating, he always make sure no one left behind in our group..He tried his best to explain everything to us in English the history, culture etc., in every place we went..though weather didn’t favor to us yet the fun 🤩 must go on ..Highly recommended ..lovely experienced❤️❤️❤️

The museum itself is very new and clean, with spacious corridors that make for a comfortable visit. Some exhibition rooms have chairs, so you can sit and rest if you get tired. The tour guide was very professional, arriving early to wait for us, and was very friendly and humorous. Their explanations were lively, often involving animated gestures and a loud voice (they even got told off by the museum staff for being too loud 😂), like telling a story to children, which was very entertaining. They were also very familiar with the museum's layout, ensuring no repeated routes. The entire guided tour lasted over two hours, and I myself stayed for another two hours (and still didn't see everything). If you want to explore thoroughly, you should plan for 3 to 5 hours, or even longer. After entering and clearing security, remember to pick up a tour brochure first; it will help you locate important works when you explore on your own.

The palace's history, architecture, and art collections are explained in a lively and engaging manner, making what would otherwise be a static exhibition full of stories. José Luis, the guide from Julia Tours, is outstanding! He is knowledgeable and his explanations are lively and interesting, bringing the palace's history to life. He is not only professional, but also thoughtfully offered to take photos for us to remember the experience, making the entire tour both fulfilling and heartwarming. Highly recommended!

The morning check‑in was very comfortable. While other tours were registering outside, Big Bus had a proper office with seating and restrooms, which made the start of the day much smoother. The coach was large, clean, and extremely comfortable for just 11 guests, and the driving was careful throughout. Danny was truly exceptional—warm, friendly, and full of engaging explanations at every stop. His guidance made the entire day feel safe, relaxed, and far more enjoyable than anything I could have experienced on my own. Thanks to him and our driver, the tour was meaningful, smooth, and wonderfully organized. The guide seemed a bit grumpy, answering questions in a very abrupt and annoyed manner.

Alejandro was very helpful throughout the entire trip. At the meeting point on Gran Vía, he gave clear instructions on where to wait, making everything easy from the start. Even though he had to repeat information several times, he remained patient and professional. During the bus ride, he shared interesting facts about the places we visited and even showed us news articles on his phone, which was a thoughtful extra effort, especially on a Sunday. The trip from Madrid to Segovia was well-guided—he showed us the aqueduct, the Alcázar, and other picturesque spots while sharing useful details about the city. He also recommended good restaurants and suggested visiting a free museum, which was a great tip. Alejandro was polite, respectful, and attentive to the group, making sure everyone was comfortable and informed, including giving time for restroom breaks. Overall, he did an excellent job, and I would gladly join another tour with him in the future.
