The van was very clean and relatively new. The driver (who was also a tour guide) was a very nice local expert. It was crowded everywhere during the Spring Festival, and there were traffic jams. Because he was familiar with the area, he saved us a lot of travel time.

Our mum and us had a great experience with our gentleman guide, Colin. Communication in English was seamless. Especially enjoyed the Yulong river rafting.

Well-planned one-day itinerary. Cable car saves energy with panoramic terrace views. Authentic local bamboo rice and farmhouse meals. A perfect mix of nature and ethnic culture!

Guilin Li River Four-Star Cruise + Yulong River Bamboo Raft Day Trip - This itinerary absolutely deserves a five-star rating! I just picked this route on a whim, but it turned out to be an unforgettable part of our trip. The four-star cruise experience was perfect; standing at the bow, feeling the breeze, listening to the melodious music, and watching the moving landscape scroll before my eyes. There were even a few moments when I completely forgot I had kids with me 😂. For children who grew up abroad, this was their first time experiencing the breathtaking beauty of China's landscapes so directly, which was more impactful than me telling them a hundred times how great China is. The itinerary was well-paced but not rushed, covering all the essential sights, and the bamboo raft ride was especially charming. The boatman taught us how to paddle the bamboo raft; it looked easy but was actually quite strenuous. The kids loved trying to catch fish and play in the water from the moving raft. I also want to give a special shout-out to our tour guide, Ah Mei. Her explanations were lively and engaging, and she even sang folk songs for us for free. She was patient, meticulous, and kind throughout the entire trip. Unfortunately, I have other plans and can't write a longer review, but I sincerely want to say: this tour is suitable for families with children, seniors, or even just for yourself.

The tour guide was so helpful and kind. I was the only foreigner and didn't really understand Chinese but she used translator to explain about the tour schedule so that I didn't get confused throughout the tour. She kept checking me if I understood and talked nicely towards me, so I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the tour very much. This tour has become one of the most memorable experience in my life thanks to that sweet guide. Thank you so much and I highly recommend the tour!

Despite it being the peak of Golden Week congestion, we were able to communicate via WeChat from discussing the meeting point the day before to the bus pickup for our return, making our cruise very comfortable. The onboard meals were also plentiful and satisfying. However, in China, all minor communications are done through WeChat, so it might be quite inconvenient if you don't register for WeChat in advance.
