What to expect
Pre-trip notice:
- ❋After you place your order, customer service will contact you via email, WhatsApp, or WeChat. To improve service experience, please register WeChat or WhatsApp with your mobile number for easy contact.
- ❋Due to the real-name system for Li River cruises, you need to provide a photo of the first page of your passport (the page with your ID number and photo) when issuing tickets. After placing your order, please send the photo of the first page of your passport and the name and address of your hotel in Guilin to customer service via email, WhatsApp, or WeChat.
- ❋Please book hotels in Guilin city within Diecai District/Xiufeng District/Xiangshan District/Qixing District. Any losses caused by incorrect hotel bookings will be borne by yourself.
- ❋Guests need to check into a hotel in Guilin city the day before the trip starts. If the hotel is outside the free pick-up area, please go to the designated meeting point to board the bus at the specified time.
- ❋A complimentary return bus ticket in the afternoon is provided. Please go to the meeting point by yourself. If you do not return to Guilin on the same day, please notify customer service.
Meeting time and place
- Pick-up: Around 7:30 AM, free pick-up from hotels in Guilin city. The specific time and meeting point will be notified by staff the evening before the trip;
Itinerary content:
- Depart around 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM;
- Take a four-star/three-star cruise between 9 AM and 10 AM to tour the Hundred-Li Li River;
- After disembarking, explore Yangshuo West Street on your own;
- Around 5:00 PM, go to the designated location: Yangshuo Luwo Inn to gather and take a bus back to Guilin;

✷The beauty of the Li River is best known for its ultimate scenery, described as "the river is like a green ribbon, and the mountains are like jade hairpins." Strange peaks are arranged on both banks, each with a different shape – Elephant Trunk Hill is like a giant elephant drinking from the river, Nine Horse Fresco Hill is like a galloping divine steed, and Yellow Cloth Reflection mirrors the mountains and rivers, creating a magical artistic conception of "water flowing in the sky, and boats cruising in a painting." The river water is as clear as jade, winding through the karst peaks, sometimes calm as a mirror, sometimes shallow and gurgling. With changing light and shadows, every frame is a wonderful annotation of ink wash painting.

Despite it being the peak of Golden Week congestion, we were able to communicate via WeChat from discussing the meeting point the day before to the bus pickup for our return, making our cruise very comfortable. The onboard meals were also plentiful and satisfying. However, in China, all minor communications are done through WeChat, so it might be quite inconvenient if you don't register for WeChat in advance.
The boat trip itself was great, and the onboard service, including lunch, was also excellent. What really stressed us out was the journey to and from the boat. On the way there, we couldn't understand anything, and it also turned out to be a sales trip. It was a good thing a fellow traveler was able to help us at the pier; otherwise, we would have been lost because our passport number wasn't transmitted correctly. On the return journey, we had to wait forever and weren't sure where we were supposed to be picked up. Since it was still incredibly hot, which no one can help, we were quite exhausted, hence the lower rating.

If upper cabin tickets are sold out when you place your order, we will arrange other cabin seats for you and refund the corresponding price difference. If you are unable to accept this arrangement, we will process a full refund for you;
- ☞This product is a local group tour. Please arrive in Guilin one day in advance and check into a Guilin hotel on your own;
- ☞The driver will contact you one day in advance to inform you of matters related to the next day's trip. Please pay attention to text messages or phone calls.
