We had a wonderful time on the Balik Pulau half-day tour, all thanks to our amazing guide, Mr. CC Ang. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the experience. From sharing local stories and culture to making sure we were comfortable and engaged, Mr. CC Ang went above and beyond to make the tour memorable. His passion for the region truly shines through, and we especially appreciated his personal touches. Thank you, Mr. Ang, for making our day so special. Weโ€™ll definitely remember this tour for a long time to come! Highly recommended.

price is a bit high considering all tickets and meals are not included, but the tour guide was very kind and friendly, recommended a few good places which are not in the itinerary and waited us in the shopping mall before sent us back to hotel!

Group size: 2 people Tour guide: Mr. Huang Attractions along the way: Kapitan Jining Mosque, Guanyin Pavilion, St. George's Church, Little India, Fire Station, Xingzhou Bridge, Haikeng Food Center, Mural Street Rest: Haikeng Food Center Tour guide Mr. Huang is worthy of being a 30-year old tour guide, with rich experience, sufficient knowledge reserves, and humorous words. He took us to walk slowly in the ruins area, chatting while walking, seeing many different scenery, and hearing many different stories. The whole process was very careful about our physical distribution, and we were not particularly tired.

Mr. Ong did an excellent job in making our short trip worth every penny. we communicated ahead that we will be visiting the Habitat, and he agreed. The fast lane ticket made our entire Penang Hill trip smooth. He made special arrangment to drop us by a nearby food hub. Mr. Ong is easy to go with, not arrogant nor hot headed. He us very patient and a very good driver. For a private tour of 3, it was surely a trip to remember.

Tour guide Ricky Ooi had been in close contact with me before I set off. The original itinerary specified a meeting at Long Cheng Hotel. He flexibly arranged to pick us up at our hotel in George Town, which made us feel at ease ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป and arrived at the hotel in advance. He introduced us to the precautions and items of the relevant itinerary, so that we arrived at Penang Hill as soon as possible and took the first cable car ๐Ÿšก and guided us to the best position in the car to enjoy the scenery along the way ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Advance reminder of various attractions, the wonderful places made us dazzled ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The most exciting thing was that under his guidance, I enjoyed a perfect sunrise for the first time in history ๐ŸŒ… The red sun suddenly rose on the horizon, which was shocking ๐Ÿคฉ Because it had just rained the day before, the sky was extremely bright, showing golden clouds, even the people on the day shouted that they had never seen it before, and finally saw a rainbow ๐ŸŒˆ It is really a rare opportunity ๐Ÿงš๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ The most fortunate thing is that we were able to bump into Vicky, who has more than 30 years of tour guide experience. His professionalism is impeccable. The angle of the story of each attraction is very good. He also took care of our needs and took us to the Siam Sisters Curry Noodle Shop, which has won Michelin for two consecutive years, for breakfast and tasted the taste of food ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป RICKY is very experienced in leading private tours. He knows that customers have their own preferences, so he arranged flexible time and introduced the characteristics of the market in detail first, gave us time to move freely, and also treated us to the local specialty fried bananas ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป When we were finally sent back to the hotel, it was still before 3:00 pm. He used his previous status to help us successfully lobby the hotel to let us check in early ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Next time I come to Penang, I must find Ricky as a private tour guide ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป He is really a five-star tour guide ๐Ÿคฉ I sincerely recommend it to everyone ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Best tour, and best tour guide. Really thankful for Tony, not just for showing us around and for sharing everything about penangs' history, but also, even to the extent of sending us to a coffee shop and to a food center WITHOUT charges. Really appreciate his efforts and hospitality.

I was fortunate to meet Mr. Huang, a local living dictionary, who has been studying and inheriting Penang's history and culture for more than 20 years. He learned about the development and rule during the British colonial period, the love and hatred between Chinese immigrants in Fujian (Zhangzhou-Haishan Society, Quanzhou-Xingshi Bridge area) and Guangdong (Guangzhou-Yee Hing Society, Chaozhou), how they could donate money to build temples because of their beliefs, and fight over territory. He also learned about the origins of Penang's various neighborhoods, and the public call for submissions for iron paintings after obtaining the intangible cultural heritage in 2008. In 2012, a Lithuanian painter left a mural by accident, which opened up the art of murals, and came back to add color 12 years later. These are just a small part of the story. If you like to travel in depth, it is recommended to prepare a pair of good shoes, do a good job of sun protection, and follow Mr. Huang's story journey to discover the food and surprises behind every corner.
