Pingtung Snorkeling

Simply one of the best experiences we've ever had. Swimming with the sea turtles was absolutely incredible! Our instructor was super kind and polite! I highly recommend the team.

We chose the 8 AM slot, when there were fewer people. Including us, there were only three of us, so we didn't have to share the experience with a large crowd, which made it excellent. The coach was very thorough in his explanation before we started, waiting until everyone had confirmed their equipment before beginning the activity. When we saw sea turtles, he also helped us adjust our direction so we could see them more clearly. The overall experience was fantastic, and we'll definitely visit again next time we're in Xiaoliuqiu.

Such a great experience, lovely and passionate people running the tour and despite the language barrier they were very patient, attentive and friendly. The instructor initially pulls you around when you are attatched to a float to show you to the reef and make sure you can use your snorkling equipment correctly; then you are able to explore for yourself. So many beautiful fish, not invasive to the environment (marine protected area) and a highlight was seeing a turtle. They even take a few pictures for you and upload to their Facebook for you to download.

Teacher Morgan helped me; she was very friendly, patient, and efficient. She knew I came alone and didn't speak Mandarin, so she explained all the scuba diving rules clearly in English. This activity was a lot of fun, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though I did it at midday, everything was great. I will definitely come back sometime.

They kindly guided us all the way to our destination and even gave us detailed explanations whenever we saw turtles or fish! I was a bit nervous when I first went into the water, but the instructor helped me a lot so I could relax and breathe properly! On top of that, they took such amazing photos. Getting to enjoy all of this at this price is an absolute must-do!!! Originally, our reservation was for 10 AM, but because our transportation was delayed, they graciously changed it to 1 PM on the morning of the same day and understood our situationㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Manager Gye is the best! For anyone planning to go, I recommend weekdays over weekends!!!!! The absolute best!

Participated in the SUP and snorkeling session for the sunrise over the sea. The serene morning sea was breathtakingly beautiful, and I was so excited to encounter three sea turtles while snorkeling. Coach A-Zhi gave a very informative briefing and his photography skills were fantastic. Overall, I had such a wonderful time! I'll definitely come back next time.

I had a great experience with this scuba diving class! The instructors speak excellent English, and all the explanations were very clear and easy to understand. They guided us carefully through every step and made sure we felt comfortable before entering the water. I felt safe and secure throughout the entire experience. I would definitely recommend them, especially for beginners!

“The Excitement of My First Dive in Taiwan” My two children got their Open Water Diver (OW) certification in Hong Kong in July, and their first practical dive was here in Kenting. We initially went to another shop that had a lot of online ads and a large facility, but unfortunately, the experience wasn't great. Luckily, I had booked with Nanyung Diving! Nanyung's shop isn't big, but it's full of warm Taiwanese hospitality. They never rushed us, allowing us to take our time listening and learning. Coach A-Wei was incredibly friendly and gave very clear instructions; the introductory divers followed him. My children went with the experienced Master Tang-ge, who continuously taught them diving techniques and knowledge along the way. With them in his care, I felt at ease to enjoy my own underwater world! We didn't have plans for the next day, so we booked another morning dive with them. This time, the children went with Coach Long-Long, who meticulously searched for small marine creatures in the ocean for them to see. My older son said that once, the coach pointed to a pile of sand, and they looked and looked, not knowing what to see. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be an adorable sea bunny! For these two days, the waves near the shore were quite strong! Since it was a shore dive (introductory dive), we couldn't walk into or out of the sea on our own. Fortunately, Coach A-Wei is strong and familiar with the terrain. Whether going out or coming back to shore, all we had to do was float and relax, and he single-handedly towed both of us safely to the center of the sea. We're so grateful for his hard work! As Master Tang-ge said: “The system isn't important; skill is!” Similarly, the shop isn't important; skill is! When I was diving with the other shop, I thought, “Oh my god! Is this all Kenting diving has to offer? So disappointing!” We are so thankful to the coaches at Nanyung for giving us a perfect experience! P.S. This was a really fun snorkeling experience and Kevin helped us take some great photos. You don't need to bring any special equipment, just your swimming clothes. Would highly recommend.
