The best time to visit Nangang District is from October to April, especially if you plan to hike the Nangang mountain trails or attend outdoor events. Indoor malls and exhibition venues are comfortable year-round.

Nangang is easy to reach via Taipei MRT, Taiwan Railways, Taiwan High Speed Rail, and intercity buses at Nangang Station. From Taoyuan International Airport, take the Airport MRT to Taipei Main Station and transfer by MRT or rail.

Use MRT, buses, taxis, and walking between Nangang Station, exhibition venues, malls, and parks. For trailheads, confirm the nearest bus stop or MRT exit before starting because some entrances sit on hillside roads.

Stay near Nangang Station if you need rail access, events, or business travel convenience. Hotels near Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center are best for trade fairs and conferences. Xinyi is a better choice if nightlife, luxury shopping, and Taipei 101 are your main focus.
