This tour allows you to explore Jakarta's main attractions with a professional guide and private vehicle. Our guide, Gindo, was very professional. He explained Jakarta's history and Indonesia in general in an easy-to-understand manner. There was a lot to see, including Indonesia's independence history, beautiful mosques and cathedrals, and Dutch historical sites. It was great to comfortably visit all of Jakarta's major landmarks. Our driver, Mr. Red, also drove very safely. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to travel briefly in Jakarta or efficiently explore its main attractions in a single day.

Convenient with pick up at hotel and private driver and guide. Comes at a cost but also meant the day is customisable. The places are beautiful but does require some level of fitness and adventurous spirit.

From the beginning, Aisya was exceptionally warm, attentive, and organized. She wasn't just guiding us from spot to spot; she genuinely cared about giving us the richest experience possible. Throughout the day, she shared fascinating, in-depth insights into Indonesia’s rich history, local culture, and unique geography that we never would have discovered on our own. Whenever we came across a scenic spot or a great photo zone, she always made sure to stop us and take beautiful pictures so that we wouldn’t miss capturing the moment.Traveling with an elderly parent can sometimes be tiring, but Aisya was constantly mindful of our pace, ensuring my father felt completely comfortable and relaxed every step of the way. What touched us most was her dedication even after theofficial tour wrapped up. She went outof her way to helpus coordinate and smooth out our personal schedule for the rest of the evening, making sure everything was seamlessly arranged. We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Everything is so efficient from getting off the LRT station, taking the shuttle and entering TMII. Despite the heat, walking was the best way to experience TMII. Stay until 18:30 if you want to experience the light show at the Dancing Fountain. Tip: the shuttle from the LRT station is included with the ticket, just follow the "Travoy" signs to the waiting area. Shuttles come every 20min or so. Bring a water to hydrate and replenish, it's a big park.

Fantastic 5.0
Booking tickets through Klook for my first visit to Jakarta was convenient. Upon arrival, I just needed to exchange the voucher at the Klook counter, avoiding long queues. I was able to explore Agora Mall and have dinner first, then enjoy the high-rise night view from the Up at Thamrin Nine observation deck. Since it was my first time in Jakarta, I noted that the sunset is earlier than in other Southeast Asian cities. There's a section on the observation deck where you can watch a short film introducing Jakarta, which I found very informative, giving us insight into Jakarta's past and present.

I had a very nice massage. Convenient redemption. You get free drinks, pastries and Matcha ice cream afterwards too! You can book your preferred timeslots via Whatsapp, 3 hours in advance but usually if they’re not too full it should be fine

What to know before visiting Jakarta

What to expect in Jakarta

This Things to Do collection is led by Observation decks, Zoos & aquariums, Attraction passes, Massages and Tours, so you’ll find quick-entry experiences alongside longer guided options and wellness treatments. That spread means travellers can mix short visits—good for first-timers or families—with booked tours when they want deeper exploration. Demand peaks in February, while July is the quietest month, so expect the busiest sights around February and far fewer visitors in July, which can make it easier to join the same activities.

How to choose what to book

The main decision is whether you want quick access or a deeper experience, and it depends on price and style: the category with the widest range is Tours, which runs from MYR 146 (entry-level) to MYR 316 (upper end), so shopping around there can change the experience and the price. By contrast, Attraction passes offer almost no variation—typically MYR 8—so price-shopping gains little and they’re the most affordable way in to multiple spots.

For short visits and family-friendly options, Observation decks (MYR 28 typical) and Zoos & aquariums (MYR 41 typical) suit straightforward sightseeing. Massages sit between day experiences and premium services with a typical price of MYR 69, so mid-range choices are where inclusion and quality vary most.

When travellers from Malaysia book

Most travellers book very close to travel: typically 0 days ahead, while the earliest planners book about 3 days ahead. That means last-minute decisions are common and nothing usually needs months of lead time, though having a small booking cushion around the peak month of February helps secure popular time slots.

How Jakarta activities compare on price

The table below shows how the city’s top activity categories compare on typical price and their usual range.

Category Typical Price Usual Range
Observation decks MYR 28 MYR 24 – 32
Zoos & aquariums MYR 41 MYR 32 – 45
Attraction passes MYR 8 MYR 8 – 8
Massages MYR 69 MYR 45 – 93
Tours MYR 223 MYR 146 – 316

Typical price is the median paid on Klook; the usual range covers the middle half of bookings, so cheaper and pricier options exist outside it; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, August 2025 – July 2026.
