Things to do in Jakarta

Convenient with pick up at hotel and private driver and guide. Comes at a cost but also meant the day is customisable. The places are beautiful but does require some level of fitness and adventurous spirit.

What touched us most was her dedication even after theofficial tour wrapped up. She went outof her way to helpus coordinate and smooth out our personal schedule for the rest of the evening, making sure everything was seamlessly arranged.We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Booking tickets through Klook for my first visit to Jakarta was convenient. Upon arrival, I just needed to exchange the voucher at the Klook counter, avoiding long queues. I was able to explore Agora Mall and have dinner first, then enjoy the high-rise night view from the Up at Thamrin Nine observation deck. Since it was my first time in Jakarta, I noted that the sunset is earlier than in other Southeast Asian cities. There's a section on the observation deck where you can watch a short film introducing Jakarta, which I found very informative, giving us insight into Jakarta's past and present.

Very Cozy Aquarium, Animals are quite active and seem to be well taken care of. Had a great time with the Klook offer, Got free pizza and ice tea/ Can choose other dishes too (Caesar salad, Fish n Chips, Aglio Olio with Prawn)

Highly recommend this museum if you want to learn about the history of Indonesia. The museum is huge, so take your time looking at displays and take a break when you can because there will be a lot of walking.

Everything is so efficient from getting off the LRT station, taking the shuttle and entering TMII. Despite the heat, walking was the best way to experience TMII. Stay until 18:30 if you want to experience the light show at the Dancing Fountain. Tip: the shuttle from the LRT station is included with the ticket, just follow the "Travoy" signs to the waiting area. Shuttles come every 20min or so. Bring a water to hydrate and replenish, it's a big park.

Very beautiful artwork and installations. The info provided for each art are very insightful and easy to read. It's in both Bahasa and English. Went on the weekend in the morning and it wasn't so busy, recommended if you want to take personal photos/videos without getting in anyone's way. Staff were very friendly.
