Knowing that drift ice might not have arrived in Abashiri yet, I boarded the ship with the mindset of just taking a cruise around the sea. I then found out that they refund 1,000 yen if there's no drift ice. Although the voyage was also slightly shortened, the experience felt just right and comfortable, both physically and mentally.

This boat tour on Lake Akan allowed my family and me to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The boat ride was very smooth, and we didn't feel any bumps along the way. The breeze was very comfortable. When I saw the adorable Marimo algae, I was amazed that nature is such a great artist.

I like how friendly the workers treat us, very nice and always give us compliment. Even we don’t understand each other. We wear this Kimono and walk around city , mostly people says to us beautiful. Thank you make us look beautiful. I will repeat again this shop when i come here another time. The process very fast.

We had an incredible photoshoot experience with Saito-san and are so happy with how everything turned out. From the very beginning, he made us feel completely comfortable and at ease.
What we loved most was how natural the entire session felt. Nothing was stiff or overly directed—he allowed us to move, laugh, walk, and simply be ourselves as a family. Because of that, the photos captured genuine moments filled with joy, warmth, and connection.
Our kids enjoyed the experience so much, and everything flowed effortlessly. The photos reflect real emotions and beautiful memories that we will treasure for a long time.

I feel it is a way to experience Japanese culture by wearing a kimono. The costume made me walk more ladylike and the costume is really pretty. The kimono is made of silk and feel very smooth and comfortable when wearing it. With the backdrop at Otaru Canal, it sure will make a nice picture for you to keep and remember.

Such a lovely wagashi class. Beautiful craftsmanship and a very peaceful atmosphere. The host was warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout the session. Making wagashi by hand really makes you appreciate the artistry behind each piece. Highly recommend if you’re curious about Japanese culture and traditional sweets.

The accommodation was excellent, spacious, with delicious food and many activities. Lots of restaurants and beautiful views. Breakfast at Nininupuri wasn't very diverse, but everything was delicious and the view was great. For dinner, we had shabu-shabu at Sora; the meat was tender. Service: Impressive. Hotel location: Easy to get to. About 1.5 hours by bus from the airport.

The environment is very nice. The hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor hot springs on the eighth floor of the West Wing have a direct view of the lake. However, since the hot springs alternate between men and women, it's better to book two days if you want to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the lake view. The breakfast is also very delicious. The transportation is a bit troublesome, but this is pretty much the case for all hot spring hotels in Lake Toya.
