What to expect
Organised by Toybox Projects Sdn Bhd in conjunction with partners KOL Nation Sdn Bhd and Eurasian Entertainment Consultants Ltd, and supported by venue partner, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, The World of Tim Burton focuses on the distinctive characters and worlds that could only come from Tim Burton’s singular imagination.
Comprised of approximately 540 works—including signature pieces from the Tim Burton retrospective as well as over 150 new works not seen in the MoMA exhibition tour—The World of Tim Burton gives new audiences an opportunity to experience Burton’s art in person for the first time and treats familiar visitors to an in-depth look further into his sensibility.
The exhibition features numerous works from Tim Burton’s early ages to the most recent project across mediums of sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, maquettes and puppets he used for his film works, and life-sized sculptures. Along with the artist’s signature figure of Balloon Boy at the entrance of the exhibition are numerous, remarkable sculptures that were newly designed specifically for the exhibition.

In this exhibition, a special opportunity sneak peek into the current projects in progress will be provided to the audience through the exact replica of Tim Burton’s personal studio where he actually works.

Exhibition FAQ
- Can I take photos and videos? No, please be advised that filming and photography are strictly prohibited inside the exhibition. If you are caught doing so, you will be stopped by the security. We encourage you to experience The World of Tim Burton exclusively through your eyes.
- How long does it take to see all the exhibitions? How long does it run for? Individual visit times will vary, but most visitors can anticipate spending 60 – 90 minutes. The main feature of the experience lasts approximately 45 minutes.
- Is my ticket valid for another day? Tickets are purchased for a one time entry only within the exhibition period from 21 March 2023 until 30 July 2023 and will not be valid for entry on another day except for the Season Pass ticket.
- Is it suitable for children? Yes, there is no minimum age to visit the experience. Children under the age of 5 (five), as well as babies in arms, are admitted FREE of charge provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The exhibition was cool and got to witnessed Tim Burton artworks were once in a lifetime experience. There’s so much of his art i never seen . Bought souvenirs and i love the cookies. Reminds me of my childhood.
It was much bigger than I anticipated and with such a variety of exhibits from 3D models, to drawings on napkins. It's lucky the artist had a habit of drawings on any napkins he could find, which gives us a map of where he's been all over Europe! There were also whole e-books dedicated to his films like Edward Scissorhands and surprising mentions, including that he used to work for Disney for a time! Definitely many works to see here and worth the money 😁
I’ve been waiting for this since the news came out. It was an unforgettable experience since I’m a fan of Tim Burton’s works. Plus the tickets were discounted with Klook credits that I have accumulated. If you’re a Tim Burton fan like me, you shouldn’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime experience to immerse yourself in the artworks of one of cinema’s most valued filmmakers.
Amazing. Initially Im not a museum kind of person so i expected less. But the details of every pieces on Tum Burtons work got me hooked that I think i stayed there for 1 hour + just fully understanding how crazy and super creative Tim Burton is. He is truly one of a kind in the world, and he was persistent thats what made him who he is today. This exhibition also made me missed my uni times where I graduated from graphic design and I had to do alot of sketches and drawings. The only reason I put 4 star is because no cameras allowed and the ticket price is a bit too expensive since it wasnt as much interactive as Van Gogh. One of the art that was supposed to move was not working as well. Overall klook has given some great discount so no doubt I will always purchase entrances from Klook again.
Was fortunate enough to see this exhibit while on vacation in KL, and this definitely did not disappoint! Great way to see Tim Burton's works throughout the years and explore the various possibilities of his storytelling. Only downside is we cannot take photos and videos of the exhibit itself, so was only limited to take photos of whatever is outside of the area.
It was rare to go to Hong Kong without anyone accompanying me when I was doing it before. This time I went to Malaysia to do my place and I went to klook early in the morning to buy it. Tim Burton fans must go and don't miss it!
Tim’s imagination is beyond expectation. So artistic and beautifully drawn. Each masterpiece was amazing. Kudos to the team!
Be mind that this exhibition prohibit taking pictures and videos. However, it exceed my expectation. It was so fun when you can only focus on the arts rather than thinking your nect photoshoot location. Highly recommended
5 stars for the Tim Burton's OG arts exhibition inside but then no photography or video allow so just save a "USB" in your brain. 3 stars I gave for the merchs which for me quite expensive especially the pen.. I hesitate many times to buy it. And also saw they are some stains on the pen. They only do deals with cookies and coaster or postcards (correct me if I'm wrong) but not other merchs. But thank you for the friendly staff that helps to take photo outside the entrance despite she needs to take care of her booth.
This was a super cool exhibition. Just show your booking info from the mobile to the front desk and you're good to go. No reservation was needed. I went on a weekend and it wasn't packed. In fact, I had plenty of time to enjoy everything. There were some very cool art pieces as well. We weren't allowed to take photos inside, but before you go in, there's a merchandise area where you can browse through as well.
