Reviews
A bit too long for people who can easily get seasick. Staff is very helpful with the people who got seasick. But the views are fantastic and we were able to dolphins too! Lunch experience on the deck is cool too.
Super friendly host and greatly accommodating. We were very late in arriving due to staying so far and also other unintended delays but Sarah was very understanding and allowed us to board the cruise. The crews were very friendly and professional in all their work. Highly recommended!
From beginning to end, it was professional and the staff were amazing. We saw all of the sites- humpback whales, dolphins, seals, albatross, krill and even killer whales. Lovely lunch too. Highly recommended!
The price is a bit expensive but well worth it. You can prepare your own lunch and save some money. The staff was very attentive and warned the day before departure that the weather might be bad and suggested rescheduling. The weather was not very good in wineglass bay during the actual trip, but the weather was very good at Bryan's beach in the end, and we had a leisurely lunch there. The staff were very professional in assessing the weather and risks. When the sea conditions were not good in the early stage, they tried their best to prevent everyone from being uncomfortable and dealt with vomiting as soon as possible to avoid the spread. Highly recommend everyone to participate.
Excellent cruise, was able to watch live humpback whale. crew was very friendly. seats were comfortable. i had a lovely time with my infant.
A great way to visit the wineglass bay for those who are not keen to do the 3 hours hike. Part of the ride can be rough but they provide Ginger tablets in advance. We saw some dolphins on the way. Overall a great experience
I wouldn't normally provide feedback, but I'm posting this to assist any one in similar circumstances as mine. My family went in April 2023. We consist of my wife & I (30yo) & our 2 year old son. This was our 3rd trip to the east coast of Tassie, because we love that area, but our first time deciding to take a short cruise (we've never really taken a cruise). Things to keep in mind: 1. Motion sickness - We all had heavy motion sickness. Not at fault of anyone but ourselves, but it may have been just due to us not being use to it. We had to keep going to the back of the boat to get fresh air and try not to spew. We saw several people actually vomit. 2. Staff were awesome, interactive and lovely. 3. There were no kids and 90% of the other passengers were 50+ years old. Not sure if we happened to come across a tour group or if that is the general demographic of those interested in the sightseeing cruise. 4. The cruise was 4-5 hours from what i recall but it felt like way too long (maybe due to our motion sickness). The majority of it is sightseeing the beautiful cliffs and scenery around coles bay & wineglass bay, but all of it sort of moulds into one. I personally would not recommend this to anyone that's not interested in natural scenery (cliffs, ocean views). Definitely would not recommend this for anyone with young children, because there is nothing for them to do or really be interested in. This is definitely not putting down the experience, because it is clearly a sightseeing cruise. It felt much longer than I expected, so I am providing feedback to inform those in similar circumstances as my small family.
I seldom write a review in which I can never find a criticism, but this adventure was simply fantastic! I DID book the Sky Lounge, and this was very worth while. Staff, from checking in on site, to all staff on board, were incredibly accommodating, cheerful and good humoured, from the Skipper, whose commentary and professionalism were first class, to other staff manning the boat’s general areas, and serving customers with delicious luncheon goodies and drinks, including red and white wine and bubbles. The whole experience was wonderful and all involved should be congratulated.
Could not have been better, crew, comfort, excellent lunch. Whole day was outstanding. Such team work, excellent knowledge of the wildlife and sealife . The history of the area too. 4.5 hours passed by. We would definitely do that trip again and will also be looking at more tours with the same company. Made our trip. Thank you
Loved the cruise. Wineglass bay is beautiful. The staff was super helpful. Would definitely recommend this to everyone visiting Tasmania.
