Gili Islands Turtle Snorkeling BBQ Cruise from Gili Trawangan

The snorkelling experience was extraordinary.The crew on ship habibi(diver)and suherman(cook) were humble and of great help.Great expressions overall.We left our powerbank on the boat and they send that back to our hotel.However,driver Abdul overcharged us on go pro that we asked from the company .

If you're mainly thinking of snorkeling, it's a bit disappointing. First off, there were three snorkeling sessions, and the first course was the Bask Nest underwater sculptures. It's just packed with people... You might think that's just how it is, but it's not really snorkeling, more like getting bumped around between people, and the time is super short. The second course is the turtle point, but there are tons of jellyfish. They're not big, but the tiny ones keep stinging, so it's a bit tingly. We only found one turtle, and it was 7-8m deep, so the guides went in and took pictures for us, but it's hard to go in together. We watched from afar. The third point is in the sea near the opposite side of Trawangan Island. It's a bit of a longer snorkeling session, but it's just right in front of the island. If you're expecting a lot from snorkeling, it's not worth the price. Now, for the advantages. The boat is pretty. It's spacious, square, with tables, sunbeds, and music... It feels like you're spending a bit of money and flexing. When you see other snorkeling teams' boats passing by, you immediately think, "Wow, that looks tough." You can leisurely drive around all three islands by boat, have a barbecue, and snorkel. If you can flex with about $100, definitely recommended!

The staff are very friendly and bright! Although it is a bit expensive, you can enjoy it privately and they play exciting music. Snorkeling took place at three points, and the photographer took really good pictures! We saw about 10 turtles in total, and gave bread to feed the fish. It was a fun time having dinner on the boat :)

Really fun activity with an experienced guide. Goes beyond to help us take amazing photographs. Nice food, cheap drinks on board the boat. Amazing experience.

First of all, it was great that they were so kind and took good care of my wife who can't swim. It was a bit pricey but it was private. There was an additional fee for the GoPro, but they kept trying to send me pictures and I was able to receive them on Google Drive. I was passed out because of seasickness, but they applied medicine and took good care of me. They said the BBQ on the ship was great. However, you should definitely check the location on WhatsApp before you go. If you go on Google Maps, it will take you to a strange place. Once again, thank you so much, it was a new experience, highly recommended!

Nothing short of amazing. The crew was super friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable. The view was beautiful both above and under water. Guide readily offered to help us take photos and videos and we could really see the effort he put in under water to capture the memories for us to bring home, at the same time trying to find interesting sights for us. The equipment provided are much cleaner and in better condition than many other places I've seen. You can even connect your own device via bluetooth play your own music on the boat! Despite not being able to catch the sunset due to cloudiness, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

the staff from gili hai were so nice and willing to take photos of us during the trip. they are also fun to be with. they make sure all guests are happy and having a good time during the trip. nice food included during the cruise!

we had a wondrful time. it was the first time we went snorkling but our snorkeling guide Paizun was so patient with us making sure he clicked some photos and vidoes, and he was very friendly and helpful all the way. Our boat captain Maknun make our ride comfortable and we enjoyed the scenery around us with the cool beeze blowing and the BBQ was delicious specially the chicken satay, the food was tasty thanks tonour cook Jo. Its was worth the money spend.

it's very nice here!!! Definitely it's the best experience in the Gili Island. The boat is very clean and the snorkeling is exllerent! And the photographer is very nice! And the cooking in the boat is very very delicious and romantic. They who work here are very professional! I hope I do this cruise trip when I come to the Gili Island again!!
