Yogyakarta Sunrise and Timang Beach Private Full-Day Tour

Mr Udik, our guide for the day was great in English, awesome driver and photographer. As one who likes photography and making videos, trust him to help you take photos to capture the beauty of the wonderful sunrise, the mix of mist, clouds and river and transport you safely to each destination. Went to Jomblang and timang beach as well where there are other guides to help take your photos. Do note that to go to timang beach, there is additional cost, depending on your preference. Budi is the driver assigned to take care of my logistic for almost whole day program. He drives very safely, using the signal all the time and we were asleep almost most of the journey as the trip started at 4am from my hotel. We had coffee while waiting for sunrise, stopped for local breakfast and convenient store while otw to jom lang caves, and visited a local luwak coffee factory for coffee and bought some decent coffee bean with reasonable price. he has been so proactive in helping us to take photos and video thru out the programs

I recently went on a day tour in Yogyakarta, and it was an incredible experience thanks to the amazing service provided by the driver/guide, Mr. Udik from otw Jogja. As a solo traveler, I was initially unsure about managing the trip on my own, but Udik went above and beyond to make the journey seamless and memorable. The itinerary included a breathtaking sunrise tour at Panguk Kediwung, Jomblang Cave exploration, and a visit to the iconic Timang Beach. However, what truly stood out were the extra efforts Udik made to ensure I had an unforgettable experience. He brough along his personal drone to capture amazing photos and videos. Not only did he take the time to shoot the footage, but he also edited the videos and shared them with me later, which is really a thoughtful touch! Udik also took me to Mangunan Summit, a spot known mostly to locals, with a magical view of clouds above the river. This wasn’t part of the itinerary but Udik made the effort to drive extra miles to bring me there. Along the way, he even made multiple stops for photo opportunities of Yogyakarta’s natural beauty, but also making sure we are in time to cover all the destination for the trip. His extensive knowledge of the region and its history added so much depth to the trip, turning it into a rich cultural experience. I cannot recommend Udik enough for anyone planning a hassle-free and personalized tour in Yogyakarta. His professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to creating a memorable journey are unmatched. I will definitely reach out to him again when I return!

The cost-effectiveness is unbelievable. Thank you to all the guides, Mr. Udic, for your hard work and I felt sorry because I could see how hard you were working. Your drone skills are the best... I'll take all the snapshots here. Thank you. I was able to fulfill my wish of going to Yogyakarta, which I really wanted to do!!

Itinerary was well planned and accounted for. I highly recommend Pak Sulis as a guide/ driver as he was friendly, patient and accommodating. His professional driving skills also made our trip pleasant and safe as he navigated narrow/ rocky roads well. The tour was a positive experience especially thanks to Pak Sulis as he took great care of us during the trip :) On a side note, it was foggy at Panguk Kediwung Hill when we went so we could not see the sunrise. Nonetheless, understand that this was out of tour company control so do make sure to take note of the weather and avoid booking during rainy seasons! Pak Sulis tried his best to find us another photo spot and we still managed to capture some nice views. In addition, would have appreciated if more details of the itinerary was provided before booking as we did not know that Jomblang Cave hike was challenging due to the mud. Overall still a pleasant experience!

Overall, we had a really fun tour with our driver, Ray! First of all, the car was spacious and comfortable, and Ray's driving skills were great haha. We were super lucky to be the first to arrive at Jomblang Cave, so we got in quickly! Honestly, Panguk Kediwung... not really a must-see spot, in my opinion. Timang Beach was more fun than I expected though haha. We also had lobster, it wasn't a super fancy restaurant, but it was worth trying for the low price!! Highly recommend~ We had such a great time on the tour with our driver, Ray! The car was spacious and very comfortable, and Ray’s driving was excellent. We were lucky enough to be the first ones to arrive at Jomblang Cave, so we could enter quickly without waiting — super lucky! Panguk Kediwung was honestly… not a must-see spot in my opinion, but Timang Beach was way more fun than I expected! We also had lobster there — not a fancy restaurant, but totally worth it for the experience and the affordable price. Highly recommended! 😄
