Strolling through 798 is primarily about experiencing its artistic atmosphere, and viewing exhibitions is the main activity. There are always numerous art exhibitions in the park, most of which are free (though occasionally individual exhibitions may charge admission). These exhibitions mainly showcase the works of the artists residing in the park, and are mostly innovative and cutting-edge. You can visit them one by one. What to expect
- The 798 Art District is located in the northeast of Chaoyang District and is a creative park renovated from old factories. Now it is a new symbol of Beijing and a gathering place for literary and artistic youths. Many galleries, exhibition halls and independent artists are stationed here. The buildings are also new and fashionable, full of design sense, and there are many unique shops. It is a wonderful place for young people to feel the artistic atmosphere.
