Tokyo National Museum tours

Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

June was our guide along with another sweet young lady (but I can’t remember her name). My friend and I both enjoyed the tour. They had a photo book to provide additional information. They shared information on the differences between a shine and temple. There were so many fascinating facts.

A comprehensive look at the Palace grounds and the history, plant life, symbols, and culture that surround it. Laura was a great guide and answered all of my questions.

Joe our tour guide was so knowledgeable and very friendly. i recommend a tour with Joe is a great start for tourists first time to Japan. Joe made everything easy, which made our market experience fun. No stress. Thanx Joe!

Both guides were very knowledgeable and helpful sharing not only about Sumo but Tokyo in general. Watching practice was an amazing opportunity. The Takasago stable is very talented!

There's nothing better than being guided through a city by a local. It was a real pleasure to learn more about the history of Asakusa, Kappabashi, and Ueno from Riho-san. She accompanied me for three hours with a lovely smile. We even took a short break for some pictures, coffee, and souvenir shopping. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

The tour was super informative & Fun. Guides were very knowledgeable & passionate about the Area. Yanaka is one of the best places in Tokyo. would recommend any travelers
