Passeios por Tokyo National Museum

This was a wonderful and very educational trip. I recommend this trip for everyone.

Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

Sie hatten ein Fotobuch, um zusätzliche Informationen zu liefern. Sie teilten Informationen über die Unterschiede zwischen einem Schrein und einem Tempel. Es gab so viele faszinierende Fakten.

A comprehensive look at the Palace grounds and the history, plant life, symbols, and culture that surround it. Laura was a great guide and answered all of my questions.

There's nothing better than being guided through the city by a local. It was a real pleasure to learn more about the history of Asakusa, Kappabashi, and Ueno from Riho-san. She accompanied me for three hours with a beautiful smile. We even took a short break for some pictures, a coffee, and souvenir shopping. I can warmly recommend this tour.

Both guides were very knowledgeable and helpful, sharing not only about Sumo but Tokyo in general. Watching practice was an amazing opportunity. The Takasago stable is very talented!

Overall, everything was really great. We got to everywhere we wanted/needed to be, and the instructions got me where I needed to go. I do wish some of the finer points (like going to the information desk to pick up the tickets instead of just “B1 of Kitte” or a better guide for getting to the bus stop) were clearer. Otherwise, it was super helpful to have everything bundled into one when I can’t buy tickets from the website directly.
