A really great tour to get an overview of historic Tokyo and Japan in a single day, we didn’t have much time in Kyoto so it was perfect to see a lot, our guide was knowledgeable and kept everyone’s energy up over a big day. The only downside of this is you don’t get much time at each stop, keep in mind that this is a quick tour of everything and you’ll be fine or choose to go to less stops on another tour where you can spend longer.

I had an amazing private tour. I was about 5 to 10 minutes late and thought I might have missed it, but Ben, the tour guide was still there waiting for me with a friendly smile. I also ended up being the only guest, which made it feel extra special. Ben shared a lot of interesting history along the way and kept things fun with his humor. The time flew by, and I honestly wished the tour was longer. He also gave me some great local and restaurant recommendations at the end. Super professional, friendly, and highly recommended.

It is an in-depth tour worth taking. The tour guide is an old Japanese gentleman who is very familiar with Kyoto. He introduces every place or street carefully and learns a lot of cultural knowledge. The itinerary is very smooth. It is very rare to experience so many interactive experiences in just 5 hours. The food was delicious and everyone had a very pleasant tea experience. It is highly recommended to tourists who want to have an in-depth cultural tour.

We wanted an afternoon tour and this fit the bill. There were three locations visited. We got to spend the adequate amount of time in experience the main attraction. Our tour guide was efficient, sometimes funny, and very upbeat. Our group had approximately 40 persons, which was larger than I had expected, but am not surprised, given that we were visiting Kyoto in the peak of the very popular cherry blossom season. Unfortunately, the chilly on/off rain, and immensely huge crowds at each locale put a damper to my personal enjoyment, but the tour itself did what it was supposed to do. We got to see some iconic spots and were professionally transported by Sunrise Tours with ease between each one, on a very comfortable tour bus. I would recommend this tour if you're short on time or don't want to tour earlier in the day.

José is a great guide, we booked the tour as our first activity in Kyoto, and Jose gave us spot-on recommendations that allowed us to avoid large crowds while still getting a good feel for both Kyoto's nightlife and cultural significance. We asked for a fast-faced tour and he had us covered so much ground. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Hassan was an AMAZING tour guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, and had great energy. He took us to all of our desired destinations. He was incredibly helpful assisting my mother up and down stairs, and took his time explaining the history of each spot. He truly made our Japan trip memorable. Sui was nice and communicated well on WhatsApp. This is a good option if you do not want the hassle of commuting especially if you have a young kid or an elderly in the group just like what we had. they also provided a car seat for our toddler .

KC our expert guide made this an incredible experience. His insight, stories, and tips kept us entertained the entire time. He even made a point to help us find each goshuin spot once he knew we were on a quest. The itinerary was perfect and highlighted Kyoto in a way we would not have seen. Highly recommend this tour!
