Hotels near Otagi Nenbutsuji Temple

This place was a highlight of our trip. We loved all of the onsen options- tried all 5 private and both male and female public. so peaceful. The staff was great and the hotel was beautiful. Lovely stay! Thank you so much.

My husband and I and our 10 month old baby just spent a few days here and it was a fabulous experience. The staff were so kind, rooms were a great size for us (we needed space for a pack n play and there was plenty!), and the amenities were lovely. The 24/7 private onsens were amazing especially with the free ice cream afterwards. We loved getting the complimentary late night ramen as well. There was even an area where you could select your pillow preference type. It is a bit far from some of the main tourist attractions but it’s next to a train station so it’s easy to get there. The town it’s in is really lovely as well. Very peaceful and beautiful. Plus the monkey spot and bamboo forest are not too far! The full experience was fabulous, we’d definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

Convenient transportation: The location is right in front of Hankyu Arashiyama Station, just a 1-minute walk away. It's also very close to Togetsukyo Bridge and the Bamboo Grove. The hotel facilities and environment are excellent, especially the private hot spring baths with different styles – they're fantastic! I'll invite friends and family to come next time!

Staff very friendly, the room very big and very clean. Highly recommend for those self driving. provide free parking.

Staff was incredible and food was SOOO GOOD!! The location is beautiful and place was well maintained.

We were just spent a night, got a problem with cold water but staff readily helped us, and for that we were very grateful. Great view of the city and snowy mountain from window, walkable to Arashiyama area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Very kind and welcoming hosts. From the moment I arrived, they made us feel completely at home. They were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with local tips and recommendations. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience in Kyoto, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!
