They were effient when dressing me. I looked and felt so beautiful. I had a few people tell me I was beautiful as I walked around. One woman asked if she could take a picture with me, when I replied yes, she was surprised and said, "Oh you're American!" I am 1/2 Okinawan!

I really enjoyed my experience and will do it again the next time I am in Kyoto. I think its a great price for the costumes, makeup and photoshoot. you pay extra for each image you want edited and they will email it to you within 2 weeks. if you have time and want a unique souvenir and experience, do this. its worth your time and money. staff are patient and friendly. they will use google translate to communicate with you.

I highly recommend this place to everyone! My plans changed, and I apologize for the inconvenience, but the aunties were so enthusiastic in helping me. Even though their English wasn't perfect, they tried their best to communicate using a translator. They were even worried my subsequent plans would be affected 😭😭. In the end, they helped me change the time. It was pouring rain that day, and they even put my shoes under the air conditioner to dry them! They were so diligent, thoughtful, and provided so much emotional support. They proactively offered to take photos for me and even gave me a small gift. I was truly and happily touched by their kindness. I hope more people get to know them 💗

Our sensei Ryo-san was absolutely fantastic. He led both a very informative as well as fun Samurai experience. I sadly wasn't able to join the museum tour as I needed to go to the airport, but I have done it at the Kyoto museum and know how much I would have enjoyed it once more.

Accommodating and skilled staff who assisted my 88 year old grandmother. Ryusou attires are different from Kimono. Providing flexibility of both studio and outdoor shoot isn't widely availabile even in Tokyo or Kyoto. A fruitful experience.

A fantastic Ryukyu costume experience! Experience: What makes this shop special is that it offers lace accessories (headpieces, inner linings, etc., which you can choose yourself). If you love lace pairings, this is a great place to try it out! The staff, including the shop owner, will personally help each customer coordinate their kimono. First, you choose your favorite color, then the staff will adjust it based on your height and the chosen color. If you prefer a more traditional Ryukyuan style, you can also ask the staff to help you with a custom coordination. Hair styling and a variety of hair accessories are also available. The latest you can return the outfits is 9 PM. Whether you enter at noon or in the evening, you just need to return them by 9 PM, which is very flexible. Safety: You don't need to take off your original clothes when wearing the kimono, which is very convenient. We recommend wearing a light, long skirt underneath, otherwise it might feel too stuffy. Valuables can be stored securely in the shop. Location: The shop is located in an alley near the First Makishi Public Market, making it easily accessible. After changing into your kimono, you can immediately explore Kokusai Street or take a taxi (about a 10-minute ride, around 1000 JPY) to visit Naminoue Shrine. We highly recommend taking photos at the coastal park and beach near Naminoue Shrine. This experience was wonderful! The shop is conveniently located, and the staff are enthusiastic and professional. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to create lasting memories in Ryukyu costumes in Okinawa!
