They were efficient when dressing me. I looked and felt so beautiful. I had a few people tell me I was beautiful as I walked around. One woman asked if she could take a picture with me, when I replied yes, she was surprised and said, "Oh you're American!" I am 1/2 Okinawan!

I really enjoyed my experience and will do it again the next time I am in Kyoto. I think it's a great price for the costumes, makeup, and photoshoot. You pay extra for each image you want edited, and they will email it to you within 2 weeks. If you have time and want a unique souvenir and experience, do this. It's worth your time and money. Staff are patient and friendly. They will use Google Translate to communicate with you.

Highly recommended to everyone! I apologize for bothering them due to a change in my itinerary, but the aunties were very enthusiastic in helping me check things. Even though their English wasn't great, they tried hard to communicate using a translator. They were even worried that my subsequent plans would be affected 😭😭. In the end, they helped me change the time. It was pouring rain that day, and they even helped me dry my shoes under the air conditioner!!! They are very dedicated, meticulous, and provide immense emotional value. They proactively helped me take photos and even gave me a small gift. I was truly and pleasantly healed. I hope more people get to know them 💗

Our sensei Ryo-san was absolutely fantastic. He led both a very informative as well as fun Samurai experience. I sadly wasn't able to join the museum tour as I needed to go to the airport, but I have done it at the Kyoto museum and know how much I would have enjoyed it once more.

A wonderful Ryukyu costume experience! Experience: What makes this shop special is that it offers lace accessories (headpieces, inner linings, etc., which you can choose yourself). If you like lace pairings, this is a great place to try it out! The shop assistants and owner will personally help each person match every kimono. First, you choose your favorite color, and then the assistant will adjust it according to your height and color. If you prefer a more Ryukyuan style, you can also ask the assistant to help you with a custom pairing. Hair styling and a variety of hair accessories are also available. The latest you can return the clothes is 9 PM, whether you enter at noon or in the evening, you just need to return them by 9 PM. The timing is very flexible. Safety: You don't need to take off your original clothes when wearing the kimono, which is very safe. It's recommended to wear a light long skirt, otherwise, it might be too stuffy. Valuables can be stored in the shop. Location: The shop is located in an alley near the First Makishi Public Market, making it easily accessible. After changing into the kimono, you can immediately stroll along Kokusai Street or take a taxi (about a 10-minute ride, around 1000 JPY) to visit Naminoue Shrine. We highly recommend taking photos at the coastal park and beach near Naminoue Shrine. This experience was fantastic. The shop is conveniently located, and the staff are enthusiastic and professional. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to create Ryukyu costume memories in Okinawa!
