I took this Statue of Liberty Express Cruise today in New York, and honestly, it turned out to be a great decision. Initially, I was confused between this and the free Staten Island Ferry, but after watching a few YouTube videos, I realized this cruise would offer much better and closer views of the Statue of Liberty—and it absolutely did. I paid around $25, which I feel is totally worth it. Since I traveled on a weekday afternoon, the ferry was surprisingly less crowded, which gave me plenty of space and time to click photos without any rush. The cruise is very well maintained and has multiple seating options. There’s an open top deck with amazing skyline views, plus indoor decks for people who want to stay warm during colder weather. The guide was also excellent—very funny, informative, and explained New York’s skyline and nearby landmarks really well. The entire trip lasted around 45–50 minutes. Comfortable, scenic, and definitely value for money.

This is the second time I've booked this tour which says a lot. The first time was for a solo trip, and this second time was bringing around family. The Tour guide Jay was amazing as he shared a lot of history about the islands and the statue and was very fun and enthusiastic as well.

Easy to board! most people went out to the open deck but i preferred the air-conditioning deck. didnt need to redeem tickets klook qr code was all they needed. Guide walked about with microphone but barely heard him.

This tour ended up being just for me, as no one else showed up. I was very lucky! The guide was extremely familiar with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which made navigating it very comfortable. Their explanations were thorough, and I'm truly glad I took this tour.

While popular sailings can feel crowded—making it smart to arrive 45 minutes early to grab an outdoor seat on the starboard (right) side—the stunning panoramic views and climate-controlled lower decks make it well worth the ticket for both first-timers and return visitors.

Our JAL flight arriving in New York from Haneda was delayed by about 3 hours, so we had to cancel our originally planned Top of the Rock tour. We booked this tour very last minute instead. It was our first time in New York, but we were able to get a great overview of the city's scenery. It was great to hear about New York's attractions and various stories from a guide who is a New York native. However, some of the stories focused a bit too much on American culture, which made them a little hard for a foreigner to follow. Still, I'd like to express my gratitude to our guide, Gary, who passionately introduced New York to us and even treated us to some fun impersonations!
