Things to do in Kouri Island

For the limited 50-minute stop at Kouri Island, you can go up the tower to see the bridge and the ocean, but you'll have to skip the shell exhibit and gift shop. The Cape Manza and aquarium itinerary is standard.

We visited almost all the classic Northern Okinawa attractions, and the fact that there were no shopping stops or visits to the pineapple park was a definite plus. The tour guide was friendly and professional, making this tour perfect for those who don't drive but still want to explore the outskirts.

We took a day trip to the northern part of the island, and even though the weather was bad with heavy rain all day, the overall itinerary went smoothly. Our tour guide, Mr. Guan, was very friendly. As soon as we got on the bus, he carefully explained all the important details. Along the way, he shared a lot about Okinawa's local customs and culture, making the ride far from boring and adding a lot to our travel knowledge. Lunch was simple rice balls, which weren't elaborate but were convenient and quick to eat. We're very grateful for Mr. Guan's care and dedication throughout the trip; even with the bad weather, he helped us create some good memories. We highly recommend this tour to travelers looking for an easy way to explore northern Okinawa!

This year, both of my children graduated, so we took our first family trip to Okinawa. Initially, I thought since it was our first time and the rainy season, we wouldn't rent a car. I immediately checked Klook for tours, and this northern Okinawa day trip included all the places we wanted to visit.

The tour guide was very responsible, the explanations were thorough, and the itinerary went smoothly. However, due to time constraints, our stop at Kouri Island was a bit short, which was a slight pity. The aquarium was magnificent.

Mr. Miyagi is a very enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive driver and tour guide. His English and Chinese are both excellent, and he even knows a little Shanghainese! He's happy to help take photos, and he stops at every beautiful beach spot so everyone can take a look. He truly loves his hometown! Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had a wonderful time, and the schedule was perfectly arranged. It was a truly pampered travel experience! Highly recommended!
