Our tour guide was David and he was amazing!! Gave some insights and recommendations. We were lucky to see Mt. Fuji the whole trip and before we head back it started snowing which was an awesome experience.

I usually research everything carefully before making a decision. The tour I had originally planned didn't fit my schedule, so I chose the large bus tour as an alternative, and it turned out to be a very satisfying trip. The course consisted of only three well-organized places: Sengeng Park, Oshino Hakkai, and the outlet, so I was able to look around more leisurely compared to other tours. In particular, the ride was stable on the large bus, making the travel time comfortable. I was really impressed and felt a sense of warmth at Mr. Kang Gil-man's passionate explanations in Chinese and Korean. Guide, you worked really hard today! Thanks to you, I had a comfortable and enjoyable Mount Fuji tour. Thank you.

Tour Date: January 3, 2026 (Saturday) Tour Route: Mt. Fuji H Line | Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway Day Trip Number of Travelers: Family Trip (3 people, including a 10-year-old child) This is our family's first independent trip to Tokyo. To fully appreciate the various scenic spots of Mt. Fuji, we opted out of taking the train and joined this Mt. Fuji bus day trip package (item). We were initially worried about the crowds during the New Year holiday and that our child might get carsick and uncomfortable, affecting the quality and mood. However, after completing the entire itinerary, it was smooth, the scenery was beautiful, and the atmosphere was great. It was truly a "Mt. Fuji in sight, worries gone" experience. 🌟 Tour Guide Olivia (Chen Yi-Wen) — Divine Coordination, Smooth Itinerary We received an email the day before, notifying us of the scheduled itinerary and the tour guide's contact information. However, we couldn't directly add the international account on LINE, and the SIM card we used for internet access couldn't make phone calls. Eventually, we successfully added her as a contact using WhatsApp. On the day of the trip, Olivia was full of energy at the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station at 7:00 AM. During the New Year holiday, there were many cars and people. Based on her experience, she immediately adjusted the order of the itinerary, successfully avoiding traffic jams, allowing us to have enough time to take photos at each scenic spot. This was a big plus. 🚌 Driver Dong Bao-Chuan — Stable Driving, No Motion Sickness The driving skills of Mr. Dong, the driver of bus number 3657, with 10 years of experience, were very reassuring. Whether it was on the mountain roads or the highway back to Tokyo, he drove smoothly and steadily. Safety is our top priority when traveling with children. On the way back, the whole family was able to sleep soundly all the way "safely back to Tokyo." 🗻 Highlights of Attractions & Food 1. Lake Kawaguchi Ropeway (Mt. Kachikachi): Crowded, but the scenery is unbeatable. Mt. Fuji + Lake Kawaguchi are captured all at once. Every photo looks like a postcard. The grilled mochi with hot tea at the tea house is also very comforting. 2. Lawson convenience store at Lake Kawaguchi (Lawson Kawaguchiko-Ekimae): We captured the classic shot of Mt. Fuji and the convenience store in the same frame. The screen was recently removed, and Olivia enthusiastically helped us take a group photo. 3. We paid for our own lunch of eel rice and Wagyu beef set meals, which were simple but warmed our stomachs. 4. Oshino Hakkai: The water is so clear that you can see fish swimming. We brought a bottle to fill with water at the designated location to take back and drink. Some souvenirs and pickled foods are not available elsewhere. The A-frame thatched roofs, which can effectively withstand heavy snow and also have sericulture and other life functions, are very special. You can see them here as well as in Shirakawa-go. Although it snowed the day before, we were lucky that the weather turned good, and we could see the beautiful scenery of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding snow-covered landscape throughout the trip. The temperature was very low, less than 10 degrees Celsius, but we still bought ice cream three times, eating it while looking at Mt. Fuji. We had a constant stream of delicious food and were happy throughout the trip. The pace of the tour was well-managed, not rushed or tiring at all. We are grateful for Tour Guide Olivia's dedication and Mr. Dong's safe driving. The explanations on the bus were clear and not boring, and she also organized two prize quizzes, which really livened up the atmosphere. Although we didn't answer correctly and missed out on the free ice cream, the child was very engaged, and the travel time was not boring at all. This was the first time I took my family to Mt. Fuji, and this trip was very relaxing!

Our family had such a fun time in Yeti! Even though we only chose the sled package, we felt like it was just right for our first time. Our tour guide, Juna, was proactive and made some jokes here and there, which made the experience more pleasant. We also really appreciate the restroom stopovers along the way. The sky was clear when we got there and we were able to have the best pictures of Mt. Fuji! I suggest checking local sources first for the weather before deciding which day to book. Please also note that the travel back home would take 3-4 hours due to some traffic. Nonetheless, would definitely book this experience again!

We had a wonderful day tour with Mr Alex as our guide and driver. The pre-tour instructions were clear and pickup was right on time, which made the start of the day smooth and stress-free. Mr Alex was friendly, professional, and a very safe driver throughout the journey — plus, he’s easy on the eyes too! 😁 Our first stop was Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. The climb can be a little challenging at the beginning, but it’s absolutely manageable We were given about an hour to explore, which was sufficient if you pace yourself and come prepared. Next, we headed to Oshino Hakkai. It was a pleasant stop with lovely scenery. Our final stop was Gotemba Premium Outlets. While the 2-hour duration felt a bit short — especially after queuing for food — we only managed to cover part of the outlet. I’d recommend planning your shopping route in advance to make the most of the time. Overall, it was a well-organised and enjoyable tour, made even better by Mr Alex’s warm personality. 👍🏻

The Hakone & Mt. Fuji tour with guide Won Yang was excellent. I was hoping to have Won Yang as our guide before we even met up, and I was thrilled that he was. The wind was incredibly strong and it coincided with a Japanese holiday, so the cable car wasn't operating and there was a lot of traffic, but he handled it with resourceful alternatives and completed the entire itinerary. We spent a lot of time on the bus, but he led the tour appropriately with quizzes and information so that the travelers weren't bored or tired. I thought we might not be able to see Mt. Fuji because the weather was cloudy, but the sky must have been filled with positive energy because we were able to see the magnificent, snow-covered Mt. Fuji under a clear and bright sky. The lunch menu he recommended was also delicious, and following his guidance, there was nothing to regret. Despite the full itinerary, it was a pleasant and not overwhelming trip. I'd like to bring my parents next time and see you again. I highly recommend the Hakone & Mt. Fuji tour with guide Won Yang.

This whole tour's main highlight is Mt. Fuji, and thanks to the weather, the clear view of the mountain with clouds at times made the experience really good 🤩 We wish that the duration spent at stops can be a little more, but we understand it's due to the unforeseen accident that delayed the bus from coming on time to pick us, the shorter daylight in autumn season, and the traffic jams on hoghway. Thanks Fred Zheng for the explanations and photo-taking for us! may your efforts pay off and all the best in your career!
