Piey is so well versed in Vietnamese coffee culture. Great personality for such an inclusive deep dive into coffee and how it's made. I recommend her 1000%. The small class size makes the experience a bigger plus.

This was one of my favourite experiences in Hanoi. The local market tour was a great way to learn about Vietnamese ingredients before heading back to cook. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome, even if you had very little cooking experience. We made several delicious traditional dishes, and the recipes were explained clearly so I can recreate them at home. Everything was well organised, the kitchen was clean, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I left with a full stomach, new cooking skills, and a much better understanding of Vietnamese cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious and has definitely made me want to eat Vietnamese food again when I get home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Hanoi.

I think the cooking class in Blue Butterfly is a very unforgettable memory for me in Hanoi! From the market to the kitchen, let tourists get close to the local people's diet and eating habits. Different regions make different food. When I learned to cook all the dishes, at that moment, I felt that I belonged to the locals.

Jesse was a really great and patient instructor. We had a lot of fun learning how to brew Vietnamese coffee and Banh Mi from scratch. The place is also very clean and looks really nice. They also gave us some drinks to try while waiting. Very good experience!

An absolutely fantastic experience—I'd say it was perfect! From the morning market shopping session, to the pick-up and drop-off transport, to the cooking venue and the staff's attitudes—everything deserves full marks from me!! The dishes we made were incredibly delicious too haha, and I also made a lot of new friends;) It was my last day in Hanoi, and I'm so glad I chose Dine with Locals~

This cooking class was absolutely fantastic! Our instructor was really humorous and engaging, and he spoke English at a slow, clear pace — even people with basic English could follow along easily.
He walked us through different Vietnamese spices and ingredients, and we picked up lots of useful English food vocabulary during the session. The whole class was very hands-on: he made sure everyone got involved and took part in every step, so we fully understood how authentic Vietnamese dishes are made. It was such an enjoyable, educational experience, highly Recommend it

This was such a great class. It didn’t even feel like “learning”, it felt like old friends catching up despite us meeting for the very first time. Lynn (our instructor) was very friendly and made sure everyone had something to do. She made the class fun and engaging. I enjoyed every moment.

we had a very pleasant time crafting our scents. Jessica been so patient with my grumpy husband and he ended up getting the scents he likes. so thank you jessica for saving me the day! lol
experience: When you enter the room, you will be greeted by great smell that makes you feel you entered a room full of flowers. Jessica patiently explains parfume structures and let us explore all the scents and waiting for us decide which one we like.
