Hanoi Day trips

My mum and I had one of the best time ever with cozy vietnam! After the bus ride there, we started of with a bike ride and it was such a fun time! we arrived at the palaces/temples of their early emperors! after that we had lunch, which isn’t the most amazing 😅but we had full bellies by the end of it, and It was interesting to try the goat meat. we then went on the boat ride, which was totally worth the heat we had to endure! lastly a hike of 500 steps to get a birds view of the lotus and rice fields! what a way to spend a day in nature. it certainly was a breath of fresh air! what wonderful way to escape the lively city of hanoi and experience the gorgeous countryside. Thanks to lily our tour guide who is well informed about the history of Ninh Binh, she taught us all about the lovely place. Thank you for the amazing time!

We loved this trip to Ninh Binh, and Loi was such an amazing tour guide. he was so funny and enthusiastic, and made the tour even more fun. we enjoyed the cycling through the rural lakes and islands, and the boat trip through the caves. walking up the mountain was extremely hot and tiring, but we still made it to the top. I would recommend anyone do this tour, our family loved getting out of the city to a more rural area and experiencing the lakes and caves.

The tour takes whole day which is nice despite the hot weather. David, our tour guide is so knowledgeable about the places and I was accidentally left in the bus due to sleeping but David responded right away and I got saved 🤣We went in June so the lotus lake is so pretty. Also, the buffet lunch is so good! it’s one of the buffet that is memorable to us!

Long was our guide for this tour (Hoa Lu > Trang An > Mua Cave) and I am impressed by his enthusiasm to share about the destinations despite the heat & humidity on that day. I also enjoyed the itinerary with a small group of 6 :) I particularly enjoyed the boat ride at Trang An as it is rare to be fully immersed in nature and it's so tranquil. You can definitely expect crowds but it's not too bad and overall quiet. If you are able to climb Mua Cave, please give it a go & stay safe. The views above was worth it 👍🏻 I look forward to visiting Ninh Binh again and perhaps book a few nights stay!

we joined half day tour. it was tiring but fun at the same time. new experience learning about their culture & belief. our tour guide Mr Kevin texted us a day before tour for gentle reminder about pick up time & place. the tour was smooth, the van was super comfortable. i fall asleep every time we got in the vehicle. we requested to drop off at restaurant instead of our hotel.

If you only have one day to get out of Hanoi, you have to do a day trip to Ninh Binh. It feels completely different from the city—massive limestone cliffs, temples tucked into the mountains, and rivers everywhere. Tips for the Tour: ​Bring a hat and sunscreen for the boat ride because there is zero shade on the water, and definitely save enough energy (and water!) for the Mua Cave climb at the end of the day. Your legs will hurt the next day, but the views are 100% worth it.

Our travel guide, Miss Trang was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Her English skill was excellent, which made it really easy to understand and learned all about the traditional techniques and processes of conical hat making and incense manufacturing. Our driver was professional and experienced, making the travel safe as traffic in Ha Noi was super busy. Thank you so much Miss Trang and anh Thanh!! We really enjoyed the tour especially painting the conical hats.

Our tour guide, Sue was very friendly and taking time explaining the spots we went to. She also took us great photos on this trip. The tour was have few walking at the rice fields and see the way of living of Black Muong People. Free drink also included and foot bath was so relaxing while looking at the beautiful view.

My husband and I had an amazing tour today! We’re so grateful to have had Pietro as our tour guide. He is kind, friendly, helpful, caring, knowledgeable, and most of all, incredibly funny! From giving clear instructions and sharing interesting facts about the tourist spots to taking great photos/videos for us, Pietro made the whole experience enjoyable. We truly appreciated how well he looked after everyone in the group making sure we were safe, stayed as dry as possible despite the rain (even bought a raincoat for us), and had a fantastic time throughout the tour.
