Things to do in Osaka

It's super fun! Both the rides and the stations are very impressive. The staff are smiling and welcoming all the way. There are many shopping options available. I recommend going early in the morning so you can buy headbands or hair accessories before taking photos. Convenience of booking via Klook:

I got my money's worth out of the Osaka Amazing Pass. On the first day, I think I used almost all the Shinsekai, Osaka Castle, Osaka Boat, Floating Garden Observatory, and subway locations that could be used with the pass. When using the subway, the pass kept giving me errors, so I didn't know what to do. But when I just showed it to the staff, they kindly took care of everything and I was able to ride the subway. In particular, you get a QR code when you look at the Osaka Amazing Pass. You don't have to worry because if you show your phone at the tourist attractions, the staff will click it for you and give you a ticket. In my case, I paid for my friend's pass as well, so I had my friend's pass with me too. If you go as a family unit and one person has four passes, make sure your smartphone battery doesn't run out. Rather than printing it out, show your smartphone, and if you don't know what to do, show it to the nearby staff and they will take care of everything.

Highly recommended for those who don't want tired legs from waiting in long lines. Buy a Pass, there are many options to choose from. I recommend booking in advance through Klook. Once inside, just go according to the time you booked for each ride. There will be a specified time to be there. Once you get the QR code, just scan it at every ride. Totally worth it, the wait isn't long, 5-10 minutes and you can play. Or you can play on any ride that isn't crowded. Convenience of booking through Klook: Facilities: Very fast, short wait times. We visited in the late afternoon after our flight and a late lunch. There was a queue to climb to the 39th floor to exchange our Klook tickets at the counter, but the process was quite fast. The see-through lift takes you straight up to the 39th floor, where the observation deck offers a 360-degree view of the city. We had planned to stay until sunset, but the kids were getting restless and cold. It was quite windy and chilly in late November. The escalators leading up are also beautifully designed.

We thought this was included on Kansai Fun Pass (but wasn’t) sowe have to purchase the pass. Booking with Klook was really easy, we were on the site already, and booking confirmation was swift and seamless. I suggest purchasing on Klook than queuing for the physical tickets for hours. Ticket for Osaka Castle already includes the neighboring musuem too!

Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan - Osaka Bay Area There are a lot of people queuing to buy tickets on-site, so it's best to buy tickets online in advance. However, you must enter within the specified time; you cannot enter early. (Online ticket purchases seem to start from 15:00 at the earliest.) It's a relatively family-friendly marine aquarium. Water Gate - First, you pass through a circular vaulted tunnel to greet the large aquarium creatures. Then, you enter the aquarium according to geographical and ecological zones. Main Tank Area: Consists of forests, rainforests, land, islands, rivers/bays, trenches, straits, oceans, etc., allowing you to appreciate various marine animals from multiple angles, from the surface down, from shallow to deep water layers, such as sea lions, penguin colonies, and various colorful fish. Continue downwards along the tank to explore other marine creatures: dolphins, manta rays, whale sharks, sunfish, sea turtles. Special Exhibition Tank - The special tank on the other side features different cuttlefish and octopuses. Jellyfish Galaxy - Jellyfish Exhibition Area: Exhibits different types of jellyfish. Arctic Zone - Exhibits polar cold-water creatures, fish, and you can even encounter angel fish that you've seen in Hokkaido before. Special Themed Exhibition (Naturally Adorable) - A very interactive area suitable for children, including clownfish, golden garden eels, and red shrimp. Little Penguin Zone - The last exhibition area, with glass fences for separation, it's rare to see so many little penguins indoors. Gift Shop - Located next to the penguin area, where you can buy some ornaments, clothing, and souvenirs. Since the Osaka Bay area has shopping malls and the Kaiyukan, you can also combine it with the "Osaka Amazing Pass" according to your preferences to participate in free activities such as the Santa Maria sightseeing ship, Tempozan Ferris Wheel, and Classic Car Museum.

Harukas 300 was absolutely amazing! 🌆 The view of Osaka during the day was breathtaking, and I only wish I had more time to see it at night ✨. Even so, it was such a beautiful experience, taking in the city from above. The food was delicious too — a perfect mix of stunning views and tasty bites. Highly recommend! 🍴💛

When you enter, you have to remove your shoes and put them in a locker, which will be the same key number for your locker in the gender changing rooms. Also, the locker key is how the facility will keep track of your purchases to pay at the end. The food was delicious, and they have a wide variety of options. It was great seeing locals enjoy spending time with their family at the onsen. I would definitely come back to Solaniwa.
