Things to do in Kamakura

It was a lovely, peaceful tour. Alex, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. He shared stories and information about each. Kamakura and Enoshima very beautiful, especially on a sunny weather like today (1/6). We also had a clear view of Mt. Fuji and I ate delicious seafood for lunch. I really enjoyed this tour.

A must do if you are visiting tokyo! Our tour guide was energetic, informative and knowledgeable. It was great having the transportation taken care of and we were able to view the coolest parts of Japan and try unique foods

I joined the Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokohama tour and it was a wonderful experience. Since the tour starts later in the morning, I was able to see Yokohama beautifully lit up at night, which was a highlight. Our guide Lee was amazing, very helpful, friendly, and supportive throughout the day, which I especially appreciated as a solo traveler. During the free time in Yokohama, I explored Chinatown, which was gorgeous and full of delicious food to try. One thing to note is that the train can get very crowded, which is completely outside the tour company’s control, but it is good for other travelers to be prepared. Time management is also important because there are several stops, so plan ahead and prioritize what you want to see. Overall, I definitely recommend this tour. Big thanks to tour guide Lee for making the day enjoyable and for being my hero and helping me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Day Trip from Tokyo – Highly Recommend This Kamakura and Enoshima day tour was outstanding from start to finish. The itinerary was well-paced and thoughtfully planned, giving us enough time at each stop without feeling rushed. Highlights included Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, strolling Komachi-dori Street, the serene beauty of Hasedera Temple, and seeing the Great Buddha up close, truly iconic. Ending the day in Enoshima was the perfect contrast, with coastal views, shrines, and ocean paths that made the experience even more memorable. Transportation was smooth, timing was spot on, and the self-guided structure gave us flexibility while still being very organized. Everything ran exactly as advertised. No negatives, this was a great value and an easy, stress-free way to see some of the best sights outside Tokyo. I would book this again without hesitation.

It was an honor to have Allan Tan lead us on this trip. He is very experienced, personally energetic, and great at creating a lively atmosphere. He shows his passion for his work in every detail of leading the group. He introduces the entire itinerary fluently in both Chinese and English, and explains in detail how to enjoy each attraction, what the costs will be, and recommends businesses, so that everyone can experience the best enjoyment without wasting time. He also gives everyone plenty of time to explore and take pictures at each attraction. He is also the only guide I have ever had who adds everyone to a group chat and shares places to visit at each attraction, as well as meeting times and locations. He also proactively calls on anyone who needs his help to contact him at any time. This is the most efficient way of leading a group that I have ever seen, and the information provided is very rich. He is always available for interaction, so you don't have to worry about falling behind or getting lost. I feel very lucky to have him as our guide, which made this trip very enjoyable and worthwhile. As the trip was coming to an end, he generously shared famous attractions where friends getting off in Shinjuku and Tokyo could go for pilgrimages, shopping, or enjoying food. For me, this was really a bonus. I have never met a guide who is so willing to share experiences outside of his responsibilities. Thank you, Allan, for giving us a very good experience. Compared to another tour I participated in today, the whole itinerary and the tour guide were very disappointing. I really wish it had been led by Allen. It would have been fun and unforgettable! We had a really good experience with this private car service in Japan. The driver was always on time, very professional, and easy to deal with. The car was clean and comfortable, and the day ran smoothly from start to finish. Communication was clear and prompt, which made everything stress-free. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide, Sakura, is really like Sakuragi Hanamichi from Slam Dunk! 😂😂😂 He can freely switch between Chinese, English, and Japanese, which is amazing. His explanations of the sights were precise, and he knew exactly what kind of stories I wanted to hear. 😁 Our driver, Mr. Wang, also had excellent driving skills, and I slept very well on the bus. Seeing the fireworks from the boat requires a lottery, and unfortunately, our group drew second to last, so we couldn't get a good spot to watch. A friendly reminder: the view of the fireworks from the top deck is obstructed by the ship's equipment, so maybe the stern of the second deck would be the best viewing spot (but I'm not sure if every boat has the same setup).

The tour guide and driver were both great. The itinerary was a bit tight, but it's perfectly fine for a brief visit. We were super lucky with the weather when we went. The transportation was by bus, and we experienced a train ride along the way. There were 2-3 controllers near Kamakura High School because of the large crowds recently, so it wasn't as easy to take photos as before, but it's still worth a visit if you haven't seen it. It's a little cold at the beach in winter, and Yokohama at night is extremely cold. There was a Christmas market this time, so the crowds were a bit scary, and you had to wait in line for the restroom for more than 10 minutes. It was hard to find a seat during meal times. Don't climb too high on Enoshima, or your legs will be sore and you won't have enough time (you'll regret it on the way back), but the sunset is beautiful!!

Serina was our guide, she was very professional, attentive and helpful, she made us feel welcomed and being taken cared of! Even though we did not got to take the cable car due to strong wind, we did get a 1000 yen refund for it.Atami firework is a once in a life experience , i for sure won’t forget about it. I highly recommend this tour! My feet finally can take a little break from all the walking.
