The reopening date of the road has not yet been determined. ・If you get off at “Kusasenri Aso Volcano Museum,” you can use the time at Aso-san Bus Terminal for free activities at Kusasenri. ・Although the crater cannot be visited, the Aso-san Bus Terminal will operate as usual, and you can proceed with your tour itinerary. ・*On August 14, 2026, the volcanic eruption alert level for Mount Aso was raised to Level 3 (entry restriction). Due to this, entry is completely prohibited within approximately 2 km of the Nakadake First Crater. Therefore, it is currently not possible to visit the Aso Nakadake Crater, nor is it possible to go to the Aso-san Bus Terminal. The reopening date has not yet been determined. For this reason, during the restricted period, the itinerary will be changed to get off at the “Kusasenri Aso Volcano Museum Front” bus stop, which is outside the restricted area.
