Ueno Farm (The Gnomes' Garden) tours

Overall, it was a great group tour. The pickup location was easy to find, and we departed on time in the morning. There was plenty of free time at Asahiyama Zoo to take our time viewing the various animals. On the way, we passed by the Ken & Mary Tree for viewing from the bus without stopping, followed by stops to visit the Shirahige Waterfall and the Blue Pond for quick photo opportunities. Finally, the Ningle Terrace was very scenic at dusk before heading back to Sapporo, concluding a fulfilling day trip.

The tour was excellent! We visited many places. Even though there were only 4 of us, we had a small car, like an Alphard, which felt like a private tour. The driver was very helpful, communicated well, was polite, and always smiling. We got to see everything on the itinerary, plus they added Tomita Farm and a herb garden for us. The time spent at each stop was just right, and the weather was great. Everything went smoothly and comfortably. I highly recommend it!

The overall itinerary was very well-organized! We spent two hours at the Asahiyama Zoo; although there was no penguin walk, the little animals were still very cute. Afterwards, we visited the Shirahige Waterfall, the Shirogane Blue Pond, and the Ningle Terrace. Visiting multiple attractions in a single day, traveling by bus made it worry-free and effortless. It was great.

We are so grateful to have 柳生导游 as our guide! She really went above and beyond throughout the entire trip. We truly feel how passionate and enthusiastic she is about what she does. She explained everything so clearly and shared so many interesting details, tips and little recommendations along the way. It made the whole journey much more enjoyable and helped us understand and appreciate the places we visited so much more. What really stood out was her genuine care for everyone in the group. She was attentive, approachable and always happy to help. It felt like we weren’t just following a tour itinerary, we were being taken care of by someone who genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful experience. A big thank you as well to the tour company for preparing the thoughtful little gifts for us. Such a lovely touch and a beautiful way to end the experience! Great and hassle free trip that allows you to see the famous spots in Furano and Biei area. Our guide was Mila and she was very attentive. She also gave us information about the different specialties in Hokkaido along with some restaurant recommendations.

The tour was excellent and the best thing is our tour guide, Andy was able to escape us from long queue on lunch and other attractions because his timing was perfect. The places we visited are all beautiful adding in that the sky was clear. VERY WELL RECOMMENDED to do while you are in Hokkaido. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

There was a lot packed in this tour which sets it apart from the others. It was such a great value to see many awesome locations! That said, it's a best fit for time-conscious people as the tour runs on a strict schedule to allow for all the sightseeing you do. The tour is run smoothly and communication is clear so you know what to expect at each area, even where the best spots are to take pictures. For novelty treats/souvenirs, I suggest buying those first as the lines could get quite long. But the actual photo spots themselves only take a few minutes walking. Also, late August you could still see Furano in full bloom. Some lavender fields can't be seen, but Farm Tomita still had plenty.
