We enjoyed our tour. We love the flower farms and ice cream! Our guide, Eric, was very friendly and shared a lot of information about the places we went to. We are also impressed he spoke 3 languages.

This was my first time in Hokkaido, and I was traveling alone with limited mobility, so I was a bit anxious. However, I found a tour that met all my expectations and decided to join for the first time! I was initially worried because the guide and driver were foreigners, but they provided explanations and guidance meticulously in both Japanese and their native language, and they were very pleasant! At the zoo, we barely had enough time to look around and didn't have a chance to eat lunch. I thought an extra 30 minutes would have been nice. Also, I wondered if we would have seen the main animals better if we had entered through the main gate. Overall, though, it was enjoyable to see many animals unique to Hokkaido! The Seven Star Tree and the Patchwork Road were also very beautiful! Farm Tomita was crowded with tourists, and I couldn't try the melon souvenirs, so I wished I had more time there. Nevertheless, I'm grateful and had a great time visiting many places I wouldn't have been able to see on my own. Thank you very much!

Jenny was a very great tour guide, she gave really clear descriptions of the places we saw and her smile was very kind. We had fun, with a lot to see and enjoy, we ate a lot, because every single spot had an unique food or dessert. We enjoyed our trip :)

Fantastic 5.0
On the day we went, my friend and I were the only Japanese people; everyone else was from other countries. Our guide was a Japanese woman who was very kind. On the bus, she shared many stories about Furano and Hokkaido in three languages: Chinese, English, and Japanese. The bus itself was very comfortable. Since there weren't many participants on the day we joined, seating was open. Given that Furano is about a two-hour drive one way, it was a long journey, but we were able to efficiently visit various places just by chatting with friends or napping. The cell signal frequently dropped in the mountain areas, though, haha. Regarding lunch and dinner, there wasn't time to stop at a restaurant, so we bought snacks at each tourist spot when we got hungry. There wasn't a single, sit-down meal! We ate things like croquettes, corn, and melon parfaits. For dinner, we went out to eat after the tour ended. The tour finishes at a time that allows plenty of time for dining out, so there's no need to worry. For those unsure where to go, our guide even announced recommended dining spots on the bus! Also, about halfway through the trip, we stopped at a roadside station where people could buy souvenirs. We received a 5% off coupon on our total purchase upon entry, which was great for getting things at a lower price. (I'm not sure if this discount coupon is exclusive to this tour or if it's regularly distributed! Sorry!) Personally, the most enjoyable part was feeding the alpacas at Shikisai no Oka 🦙. The other tour participants didn't seem to go near the alpacas much, but I really think you should go; they are so cute. Please try feeding them carrots!!! Finally, I thought this tour was perfect for anyone who wants to visit as many Furano tourist spots as possible. Every location allowed us to truly experience Hokkaido's nature, making it a very fulfilling day. I'd love to book other tours when I visit Hokkaido again. Thank you.

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and there weren't many tourists, so we could explore and take photos to our heart's content. The scenery was also incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide, Xiao Dong, recommended the local corn, which was very sweet. I didn't choose the all-you-can-eat cantaloupe option, but they also sold individual slices, so I felt that one or two pieces were enough to get a taste. If you want to try lavender and cantaloupe flavored ice cream, you don't have to choose just one; Tomita Farm offers a mixed flavor so you can try both at once. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, allowing plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. There was ample rest time in between, and both the bus and the areas around the attractions were very clean. Our guide, Xiao Dong, was also very enthusiastic, telling us about local snacks and products, and where to find the best value.

We had a great trip and it was a special day in March since it was snowing, we just wanted to have viewed each location more as 20minutes allocation per area is a bit tight, considering the snowy and slippery roads that we have to walk to and we have a senior family member. Dara was very understanding of the passengers even though we’re late to return. And I hope that there is a charging port at the bus since almost all our tours has an outlet in the bus except for this one.

very prompt pick up at the meeting area. very comfortable bus ride. Tour guide, I think her name was Vivian, and the bus driver was great. so patient and kind. Got to see beautiful sites we wouldn’t have been able to see on our own, because it was very rural. First time using Klook, and I loved it! Very reasonable priced too which is a bonus! Highly recommend!

On August 25, 2026, we met at Exit 31 of Datong Station to join the 11:10 AM tour. We had the pleasure of having Hanna, a very elegant and knowledgeable tour guide, and Mr. Kasai, our driver. Hanna professionally explained the itinerary and provided excellent service throughout the trip. The advantage of departing a bit later was truly great, as we avoided large crowds and rush hour traffic on the way back. We didn't even have to wait in line for dinner. Although the journey was a bit long, it was well worth it for the beautiful scenery. We visited the Blue Pond, the Herb Garden (shopping for lavender products), Shikisai-no-Oka, Farm Tomita, a melon farm, and enjoyed the illuminated Ningle Terrace at Furano Prince Hotel (a nighttime activity). We returned at 9 PM.

What to know before visiting Hokkaido

Top Attractions in Hokkaido

Sapporo Snow Festival

If you visit Hokkaido in February, you can see giant ice and snow sculptures at the famous Sapporo Snow Festival. It’s one of Japan’s biggest winter events and turns the city into a winter wonderland filled with ice sculptures, music, food stalls, and fun activities.

Niseko Ski Resort

In Hokkaido, Niseko is the best place for skiing and snowboarding. You’ll love the soft powder snow, beautiful mountain views, and cozy hot springs after a day on the slopes.

Furano Flower Fields

During summer, Hokkaido’s Furano area turns into a rainbow of colors with lavender, cherry blossoms, and flower fields. It’s a perfect spot for photos and a relaxing walk through nature.

Otaru Canal

In the coastal town of Otaru, you can walk along the charming Otaru Canal lined with old warehouses and soft lantern lights at night. It’s especially romantic in winter when covered with snow.

Shirogane Blue Pond (Biei)

You’ll be amazed by the bright turquoise water of the Blue Pond in Biei, Hokkaido. It changes color with the light and looks stunning in every season.

Noboribetsu Onsen

For relaxation, visit Noboribetsu Onsen, Hokkaido’s most famous hot spring town. You can soak in mineral-rich baths and explore “Hell Valley,” a volcanic area with steaming vents and bubbling pools.

Tips before visiting Hokkaido

1. Dress for the season

Winters in Hokkaido are long, cold, and snowy, so pack layers, thermal wear, and waterproof boots to stay warm. Summers are mild but can still be cool at night, especially in the mountains.

2. Try local food

Hokkaido is famous for its fresh seafood, rich ramen, and creamy dairy products. Be sure to visit local markets or food stalls to taste specialties like crab, sea urchin, and soft-serve ice cream.

3. Use the JR Pass

The JR Hokkaido Rail Pass makes traveling between cities like Sapporo, Otaru, and Hakodate affordable and easy. It’s a great way to see scenic routes without worrying about car rentals or snow driving.

4. Book early in winter

Ski resorts like Niseko, Furano, and Rusutsu get fully booked months in advance during the snow season. Plan ahead for accommodations, lift passes, and transport to secure the best deals.
