Hokkaido Winter Exclusive: Asahiyama Zoo & Shikisai no Oka & Biei Christmas Tree & Ningle Terrace One-Day Tour (Departing from Sapporo)

The tour was excellent and the best thing is our tour guide, Andy was able to escape us from long queue on lunch and other attractions because his timing was perfect. The places we visited are all beautiful adding in that the sky was clear. VERY WELL RECOMMENDED to do while you are in Hokkaido. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm so glad I chose the Hokkaido Furano and Shikisai no Oka tour (July 8th)! Although this year's snowmelt was delayed, which also delayed the flower planting, most of the flowerbeds at Shikisai no Oka were still in the seedling stage on the day of our visit. It wasn't as spectacular, but there were fewer visitors, which actually made for a very pleasant atmosphere. I want to give a special thank you to our tour guide, Ms. Chen Lin. She provided incredibly detailed explanations of Hokkaido's geography and history throughout the trip, which was truly enlightening. She also told us about the best local foods. I was eating non-stop! 😋 First, I tried freshly picked sweet corn that day (highly recommend this! It's incredibly sweet when eaten raw). I ended up eating three ice creams along the way (the blue ice cream at Aoi Pond was super dreamy and delicious). I really wish I had a 1TB stomach! There were so many other delicious foods I just couldn't eat. Oh, and the lavender water cream is absolutely amazing; it's fantastic as a makeup primer and so refreshing for skincare (I regret not buying more! If anyone is going, please bring some back for me 🤣🤣). On the way back, our guide, Chen Lin, continued to answer our questions and recommend delicious restaurants in Sapporo and Odori. Her genuine and thoughtful service was truly touching. Finally, I also want to thank our driver for the smooth and steady driving throughout the trip. This tour was truly enjoyable and a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone! 😀

The trip is well organised and value for money. Guide Aoki is thoughtful, polite and helpful. She send msg to remind us the pickup procedure and remind us on the boarding time at every point. the driver is also very polite and patient.

The tour was worthy for tourists without driving. It covered spots that you won't be able to connect in one day with only public transportation. The tour guide Jenny was informative, responsible and nice, who was genous to share and able to guide the >40 peoples tour well and end the tour on time.

My guide, jenny, was a lovely and informative guide. she shares valuable information of each stop and on top of that, places to visit and ongoing festivals in sapporo. The timing for each stop was just nice during this trip. Side note: In late may, there's only tulips, canola and lavender at the shinkisai no oka, the farm is quite bare. However, at tomita farm, it was blooming with flowers, lavender and shibazakura. The blue pond soda ice cream and lavender ice cream at farm tomita were my ice cream picks. The melon at furano herb garden(lunch place) was sweeter than the one at farm tomita. For merchandise, the lavender horse oil recommended by Jenny was really moisturising for this dry and cold weather. This is my first klook trip. Good experience so far~

i love the tour furano, blue pond,shirahige falls and tomita farm 👍👍, our guide eric is very accomodating and helpful..tulip and other flowers are beautiful..we got to see the alps covered with snow😍😍

Kevin, who speaks Chinese, English, and Japanese (impressive!), gave us a thorough overview of Hokkaido's fishing and agriculture industries. He also thoughtfully recommended various excellent products and local specialties worth buying. Although the weather wasn't great and it wasn't yet flower season in May, he prepared us for it. Seeing the Shirogane Blue Pond shrouded in mist was quite stunning, almost like a traditional Chinese painting. I highly recommend the lavender soft-serve ice cream from Herb Garden Furano; the milk and lavender flavors blend perfectly without any soapy taste. If you prefer something sweet and tart, you can try the Blue Pond Soda ice cream, which also looks beautiful in photos with its blue color.

Jenny our multilingual and English proficient Tour guide is fantastic! Kudos to her enthusiasm having constantly whatsapping me for updates a day before the tour knowing I'm a tourist with a senior citizen mom and a nephew I tag with me in this trip . Jenny has a complete mastery of the places we have been and made sure everything is in order so we all enjoyed this trip despite the bareness of the flowerfarms the frost of winter is still on the wraps! Nobody's fault ... Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. thanks klook and thanks sonmuch Jenny

amazing guide - informative, unique and fun. smooth travelling. beautiful weather and nature. we didn’t visit during peak season for the flowers to bloom but the furano area was still very beautiful. Alpaca’s were cute, please feed them. great food options in most stops (especially for ice cream).
