We had an amazing time on the Hakone & Mt. Fuji tour, and a huge thank you to our tour guide, Captain Jack, for making the whole trip so enjoyable! He was with us throughout the entire journey, making sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and knew what was happening at each stop.
We visited beautiful Hakone, went to the volcanic area where we tried the famous black eggs, enjoyed the scenery around Lake Yamanaka, and even got to feed the ducks. We also had a delicious Japanese eel meal, which was definitely one of the highlights of the day!
Captain Jack was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. Having him with us for the entire trip made everything feel easy and relaxed. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable experience.
Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Captain Jack as your guide! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We were lucky with the weather because we were able to see Mount Fuji completely and from various locations. Mandy gave us all the information about the places we visited and the best tips to make the most of them. She was also very thoughtful in offering to take photos with our phones, finding good angles for the lakes and Mount Fuji.

Beautiful experience! We saw a ton of wonderful places and took many many photos! Our guide Luna was amazing, she guided us throughout the whole excursion and gave us many different insights. We managed to do everything and were also able to see mount Fuji in spite of the cloudy weather. Definitely recommend!

You don't need to exchange your ticket upon arrival; you can go directly to the boarding line. Just show your e-ticket on your phone to the staff, and you can board immediately. Only those wishing to purchase a special room need to queue to buy it first. We were very lucky with the weather that day; Mount Fuji was clearly visible, and the photos turned out beautifully, like a painting.

Buying tickets online through Klook saved a lot of time waiting in line. The entire ropeway journey, which takes 30 minutes, passes through the following stations: Togendai Station, Ubako Station, Owakudani Station, and Sounzan Station. With your ticket (QR code), you can stop at each station. It's a single ticket for the whole ride, and each gondola can hold about 15-18 people. Unfortunately, on the return trip, it was crowded, so we had to sit individually, waiting about 1-2 minutes. The gondola offers scenic views from all sides and is very stable, without any uncomfortable swaying. The only minor drawback was that some of the gondola windows were a bit dirty.
Price: Affordable, with discounts up to 60% off. It would be a shame not to buy and ride!

Service: Initially, I was impatient with the long queue, but the staff's smiles and patient guidance made me feel much more relaxed. It was a very hot day, and I truly admire how these staff members maintained excellent service for everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during this trip as we were lucky to have a clear day to enjoy Mt Fuji clearly from Fujisan World Heritage Centre. The views at Hakone and Owakudani were spectacular with all the volcanic activities. We ended our day with a cruise on the peaceful Lake Ashi.

We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Will! He was so funny, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with all of our questions. He made the whole day enjoyable and kept us laughing.
We didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji because it was hiding behind the clouds, but the tour was still absolutely worth it! I really appreciated that Will and the team waited a little longer to give us a chance to see if the clouds would clear. It showed how much they genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible.
Will even gifted us a Japanese golden turtle, which symbolizes longevity and good fortune. Such a thoughtful little souvenir that made the experience even more special.
Our driver was also wonderful and got us everywhere safely and comfortably throughout the tour.
I highly recommend this tour! Even without seeing Mt. Fuji, we had such a fun and memorable day. We’re planning to book again when we come back during the winter, and hopefully Mt. Fuji will show itself next time! 🗻🇯🇵
