Fantastic 5.0
My husband and I had so much fun making ramen! It was just the two our us with our instructor, so we were able to ask questions, and actually have a chat with him too! instructor: our instructor was so nice! He was able to answer any questions that we had, and also asked us questions too! location: the location of the actual class was a little difficult to find, but we stood outside the restaurant and asked someone, and they brought us to the right place. We got to eat the ramen at the actual restaurant though!

great experience! the guide Ayuri was the sweetest and funniest! she was knowledgeable and even gave us tips on Japanese alphabet. the chef was very good and took time teaching with Ayuri as translator. All supplies were good. I was thrilled at the Ramen I made and ate so quickly and easily! the broth and other ingredients were delicious! it was a bit small in the restaurant but typical for Japan. I would definitely book again!

These guys are absolutely awesome! They not only accommodated to a change of my reservation on the same day- but they made sure to bring the whole experience!! They were very kind, personable and funny! There was no shortage in ensuring that memories were made and captured on your device for safekeeping! Not even to say the food was INCREDIBLE! We didn’t even get to photograph it- it was so good! Definently gives a newfound perspective on the art of ramen all around!

This mochi-making class was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! The instructor, Karin, was friendly, patient, and made the experience both fun and educational. We learned about the history and cultural significance of mochi before getting hands-on and making our own. Even the story about the moon and rabbits. The process was interactive. The mochi we made tasted amazing — so fresh and soft! I loved that we got to enjoy what we created. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan. It’s a unique and memorable cultural activity!

We had so much fun learning how to make fresh udon, tempura and onigiri. From kneading the dough for 5 minutes (you need strong hands!) then cutting it, to dipping the vegetables in the batter, grating fresh ginger and filling sweet tofu pockets with the best tasting sushi rice was an experience we won’t forget. Although my udon turned out too thin it still tasted good! Our local guide Josh was so helpful and knowledgeable giving us tips along the way and where to buy some of the ingredients. We ended up with a lot of food. This was a fantastic experience and we got to keep the recipes. Make sure you go on an empty tummy!
