Fantastic 5.0
We had a great stay in this hotel. It is conveniently located near the Sun Plaza and has plenty of shops and restos nearby. The room we booked gave us a nice view of Sapa. It was spacious and cleaned everyday. The bed might be stiff for others, but it was comfortable for us. They also had massage chairs and a shower room that guests who have not checked in yet or have already checked out could use while waiting for their sleeper bus. The staff were all kind and made our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet was filling but could use more variety. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!

Everything about this hotel is perfect! Friendly staff service, clean and comfortable hotel, strategic location close to Sapa town center, Cat Cat Village, Sun Plaza, and even Sapa Lake! Staying here was my best choice. The staff are very friendly and I was even able to check in before 2 PM because I was so tired from the journey. The room with a mountain view is excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: 🥰 Cleanliness: 🥰 Hotel location: 🥰 Transportation access: 🥰

Fantastic 5.0
SaPa Yen Hotel was definitely one of the best choices for our stay in Sapa! The location is very convenient and within walking distance of central Sapa, including the monorail station going to Fansipan. We booked a room with a balcony, and one of the highlights was being able to see the monorail passing by. Unfortunately, our one-day itinerary was so packed that we missed the chance to capture a photo of it from our balcony—but that simply gives us another reason to come back! I would definitely stay at SaPa Yen Hotel again on our next visit. A little tip for future guests: the hotel does not offer a buffet breakfast, but they provide several breakfast choices. The actual food may not look exactly like the photos shown, so it is best to manage expectations. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our stay and were not disappointed. Overall, the excellent location, accessibility, balcony view, and convenience made SaPa Yen Hotel a great choice for our Sapa adventure. ❤️

The room is large, and nostalgic, it feels like you are living during wartime. When you look in the balcony you can see the street where it becomes a little modern, it a little time shift when inside and outside.

Fantastic 5.0
I can't say more; it was such an awesome experience. The place is so beautiful, super close to nature. The mountain view is surreal, and the weather is beautiful as well. It's cold and warm during the daytime, but it's a great balance. This hotel is perfect for those who want to have a great experience and a great view. So, I would definitely go back.

Fantastic 5.0
Our stay at this hotel truly saved our trip. After an exhausting overnight bus ride to Sa Pa, we arrived at our original hotel only to find that our booking had been canceled. We were tired, stressed, and incredibly disappointed. Little did we know that this unexpected situation would lead us to discovering this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. Their hospitality immediately turned our disappointment into a blessing in disguise. I had booked a garden-view room, but I asked if it would be possible to upgrade to a mountain-view room. After carefully checking availability, the receptionist happily accommodated our request, and we were so grateful. such a breathtaking panoramic view of Sa Pa’s city center—absolutely spectacular scenery it was unforgettable. This charming hotel easily became our favorite in Sa Pa. It’s cozy, homey, peaceful, and offers one of the most beautiful views. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at Pistachio where the staff are helpful and polite. They also have two pools one on the rooftop is super cold and one heated at the first floor. The hotel itself is elegant and near city center 5-7 mins away. This is also near Lado Homestat and Viettrekking hotels.

More about Sapa hotels

What staying in Sapa feels like

Staying in Sapa offers a modest spread between the most affordable and most premium options — about 3.4 times from bottom to top — so you can move from budget basics to a much more comfortable stay without leaping to ultra-luxury prices. The best balance for most travellers sits in the premium tier, which delivers noticeably better value compared with lower tiers.

How hotel classes compare and who they suit

Economy rooms sit at the entry level and are the least expensive option relative to the rest, suited to travellers prioritising price over frills. Standard rooms are only a small step up from economy, offering a bit more comfort for a similar spend. The premium tier represents the sweet spot: it’s the best value choice and a clear step up from standard, making it a solid pick for travellers wanting better comfort without a major price jump. The biggest price decision comes when moving from premium to luxury — that final step brings the largest increase and is mainly for those seeking higher-end amenities and an elevated stay.

When travellers from Hong Kong typically book

Rooms in Sapa are typically cheapest in July and most expensive in August, so a budget-led trip is best planned for July when rates tend to be lower. Travellers from Hong Kong usually book around 55 days ahead on average, so if you want certainty aim to lock a room about that far in advance; last-minute flexibility is possible but generally within about three weeks.
