Fantastic 5.0
We had a brief chat with the photographer before the shoot, and the meeting/pickup process was very straightforward! The photographer was patient and meticulous in helping our family of three take photos, guiding our poses and expressions. Our four-year-old son is quite active and a bit difficult to cooperate with, but the photographer used various methods to engage him in the photos! We received the photos back within two weeks, and they are beautiful. Thank you so much! 10/10!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and skilled! The location was also perfect, right in front of the Tabito bus stop and Dazaifu Station. The hair styling, in particular, was truly artistic. When upgrading to premium on-site (which includes hair styling and more yukata options for women, but no hair styling for men), there was an additional charge of approximately 5,500 yen for two women. Even short hair could be styled! Please note that if you have a larger build or hips, your yukata design choices might be limited due to sizing. As of early June, wearing a yukata was comfortably warm and pleasant!

This was our first time to book professional photography experience. We were very happy during 1 hour photo shooting. The photographer is very nice and advices us how to perform. Once we have got the photo, they are very lovely. Truly appreciated that.

I was extremely satisfied with this kimono experience! The store environment was clean, tidy, and well-organized, making me feel comfortable and relaxed the moment I walked in. The staff could communicate seamlessly in Chinese, English, and Japanese, and their service was friendly and attentive. From selecting the kimono and matching accessories to the dressing process, they patiently assisted and offered professional advice, making the entire experience very smooth. The store offered a rich variety of kimono styles and patterns. Whether you prefer elegant, cute, or gorgeous styles, you can find a choice you love, and they are highly versatile for pairing, resulting in beautiful photos. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable and clearly marked, with no hidden fees. It was affordable and offered great value for money, allowing me to enjoy a high-quality kimono experience at a favorable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a kimono or create wonderful travel memories. I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

The tour package made our trip convenient. Our guide Jimmy was very enthusiastic and made the tour more enjoyable even with the rainy weather. The Yufuin no Mori train is a must to experience, and luckily the rain stopped during our ride (delayed but it was a blessing in disguise). For us, the itinerary was well planned with ample time to explore each destination. Make sure to bring a pair of slippers if you want to try the foot bath in Umijigoku. We really enjoyed our trip, thank you!

This was an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Mrs. Nana, was very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends. If you join this tour, don’t miss the onsen eggs at Umi Jigoku—they’re incredibly delicious! I only bought one, and I really regret not getting more. The croquettes at Yufuin Floral Village are also a must-try. I also wanted to try the grilled mushrooms, but unfortunately the queue was so long that they sold out before I could buy any. That was a little disappointing. The only downside was visiting in the summer. It was extremely hot, and walking around in the heat was quite tiring. Other than that, I had a great time!

Fantastic 5.0
We visited a lot of places during the tour and was able to have time to browse lots of souvenirs and food throughout. Mount Aso crater was unfortunately closed but we were still able to enjoy and take in the amazing views. Our guides especially Sun was so accommodating even when we me and my friend were the only 2 English speaking people in the trip. They were both really jolly and would give good infos about the places and also gave tips on food and where else to visit around Fukuoka. So thank you so much to them :)

this tour was really good if you love animals and want to see them up close. I enjoyed the guide Zhu Zhu was so sweet and even she spoke little English she was so great and made sure I was able to follow along with rest of the group. She was so delightful and kindhearted, helped me order all the foods form all the shops and stores and offered me her umbrella and even the sweet apples. I highly recommend this route you get to see lots in one day!

What to know before visiting Dazaifu

Quick snapshot of Dazaifu and what to expect

Dazaifu is a compact cultural destination popular for tours, museums and hands-on cultural experiences. Klook booking patterns show a strong spring peak, with activity concentrated around a few busy months while late summer and early autumn quieten noticeably.

Best times to visit and how prices move

Demand peaks in April, while the lightest booking activity appears in August; September and October also see below-average interest. Prices rise into November according to Klook data, with November typically the priciest month and December typically the cheapest. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in August or the early autumn months; for lively spring atmosphere and peak-season events, plan for April when demand is highest. Overall, prices and demand diverge a little here — the busiest month is in spring while the priciest month on Klook tends to be in late autumn.

Tips for travellers from Hong Kong

Most travellers from Hong Kong book around a week before their visit, with many last-minute options still available a day or two out, so short-notice plans can work. If you’re travelling in April (peak season), aim to confirm key tours and cultural experiences earlier — about a few weeks ahead — to secure spots. Use Klook to compare availability and lock in what you want without needing far-advanced planning.
