Things to do in Yunnan

The tour was very well arranged, with Tom coordinating everything through WeChat. The driver picked us up early at 6.30am to avoid the crowds. First, we went to pick up the oxygen bottles before proceeding to the first location, blue moon valley, reaching at approximately 7.15-7.30am. En route, we saw huge crowds queuing for tickets. Once we reached blue moon valley, the driver did not follow us in but gave us very detailed instructions on what to do. We also paid for the mini shuttles to bring us around (~40 yuan). After that, we were supposed to meet the driver at the tourist centre but as the rest of my group have not returned, my guide instructed me to head up to the mountain first. Again, he sent specific instructions and the QR code which will be used for the cable car rides and the Lijiang impression performance. Overall, the itinerary was well-planned and there were sufficient time for us to explore the places on our own and the whole process was seamless.

A Day Trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain My group tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain took a nice turn, thanks to a flexible plan. Our Grand Cableway ride was supposed to be in the morning, but it got rescheduled to the afternoon. Our guide quickly adjusted the itinerary—we visited Blue Moon Valley first, then the cableway. The valley’s turquoise water, like liquid jade, was breathtaking; we walked the boardwalk and laughed at the icy stream. By 2 PM, we took the cableway up. The snow-dusted peaks against the blue sky made the thin air feel worth it. We snapped photos and enjoyed the quiet grandeur. Our driver waited patiently whenever we lingered, and the customer service team had confirmed the change earlier, keeping everything smooth. Tired but happy by evening, the schedule shift only made the day better. Great service and stunning views—this trip will stay with me.

stayed within second ring road area, and we got free pick up. we still took this trip although we dont understand chinese because this is the only tour for stone forest + dianchi. the tour guide (lausanne) was accommodationg although we dont understand each other lol

So, after comparing several options, we embarked on a five-day, four-night journey with Sister Mei as our driver. Unexpectedly, Sister Mei turned out to be a fantastic guide – patient, meticulous, conscientious, and responsible. She took everyone's feelings into account and took care of us without us having to say much. Sister Mei thoughtfully prepared fruits, snacks, and local delicacies for us. She never rushed us, cared about whether we were warm enough, and demonstrated excellent driving skills on difficult roads. I knew choosing a female driver and female guide wouldn't be a mistake!

Our first time working with Klook was a very smooth experience. Since we were traveling with two 80-year-olds, we had many things to consider, especially since their knees weren't in great shape and we needed to avoid too many stairs. During the itinerary planning, Jiajia patiently optimized the design based on our needs until we were completely satisfied. Our driver, Xiao Zhao, proactively helped us take care of the elders during the tour, slowing down and adjusting the pace to accommodate their physical condition. He recommended delicious and cost-effective food, saving us the trouble of researching food guides. He was very trustworthy. In just a few days, we felt like family. I highly recommend finding Xiao Zhao if you come to Tengchong. He's handsome, kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to answer questions. He is very considerate of his guests and makes you feel right at home.

This tour experience was a perfect 10/10! Our guide and driver, Xiao Hu (Hu Jingjing), was incredibly responsible, enthusiastic, and generous. She even greeted me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers upon arrival. At each attraction, she provided detailed and engaging explanations, giving us a deeper understanding of the local history, culture, and customs. The transportation was also very smooth, and her excellent driving skills ensured our safety. The travel agency's itinerary was well-planned and comprehensive, covering both famous hotspots and unique, lesser-known gems. They also arranged special performances, allowing us to fully appreciate the destination's diverse appeal. The food and accommodations were also quite satisfactory, with clean and comfortable hotels in convenient locations, including a stay at a popular, highly-rated "网红" (internet-famous) hotel 🏨. Driver & Guide: Xiao Hu (Hu Jingjing)

This trip to Shangri-La was planned in early July, to help my child relax before the start of the new school term and prepare for the academic challenges ahead. The itinerary was very well-organized and comprehensive, covering all of Shangri-La's famous attractions in just four days. A special shout-out to Mr. Ba Ge, our driver from Yunnan Youxiake, whose driving skills were exceptionally steady. He was also very enthusiastic and showed us the unique scenery of Yunnan. On the second day, my child felt unwell due to altitude sickness. Mr. Ba Ge not only provided us with a portable oxygen tank, but also went the extra mile by driving an additional 50 kilometers round trip to take us to the hotel so we could settle in, allowing my child to rest and recover in an oxygenated room. After we arrived home safely, Mr. Ba Ge even sent a message to check on my child's condition. These heartwarming acts of kindness were truly touching. We are extremely satisfied with the entire trip, especially with Mr. Ba Ge from Youxiake. A big thumbs up to him, and wishing him all the best!

had a FANTASTIC time here. the park had lots of thrilling rides for adults and kids too. It is also way bigger than you might think. Went at 3pm yesterday and there wasn't much people so we managed to play everything we wanted by 7.30pm. If you love theme parks, this is the place for you!!!
