Otaru & Shakotan Peninsula Kamui Misaki (Departing from Sapporo) Day Tour

The trip was so worth it! It was such a beautiful and memorable sightseeing trip that I don’t think I’ll ever forget. Danny, our tour guide, was very polite and organised, which made the whole trip a breeze. Do remember to wear comfortable walking shoes, as Cape Kamui can be quite a hike. But don’t let that scare you! The views along the way and at the end are absolutely stunning and make every step worth it. I highly recommend this trip if you’re a nature and scenery lover. Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Hokkaido ❤️‍🔥

We had an amazing time with this tour package, the pacing/duration of itinerary is just perfect for each location - we didnt feel rushed. Cape Kamui and Cape Shakotan are both breath-taking. Shakotan Peninsula is a definite must see when in Hokkaido. And pair it with a Blue Cave boat tour for a perfect day trip. Kevin is the best tour guide ever. He gave clear instructions, educational info for each stop, shopping tips, and free photography from his professional camera. he is truly a gem.

Feeding seagulls from the boat at the Blue Cave was a lot of fun, and the kids really enjoyed the experience. It's a shame the boat guide couldn't speak Chinese. We hope that when the tour guide arrives at Otaru Station, they can drive into the downtown area for drop-off, saving us a 20-minute walk round trip. It would also be a bonus if visitors were informed about local specialties available for purchase in Otaru. The LINE QR code provided in the email couldn't be scanned to add a friend; we suggest providing a LINE ID instead, which would be helpful for communication before and during the trip!

We had an enjoyable day trip with our guide, Lily. She is helpful and friendly. We had the luxury of having a big and comfortable bus catered to us. Although we don’t know one another in the tour our punctuality is excellent. Thank you Lily once again. We will join the tour again when we have come to Hokkaido.

Tour guide Xiao Zhao was extremely professional. We departed in a 9-seater minibus with a group of 11 people, and the timing for every attraction was just right. In particular, allocating an hour and a half at Cape Kamui gave everyone enough time to walk to the lighthouse and take pictures. The weather was nice that day, and since we joined the tour that included the boat ticket, we were lucky enough to go out on the water and feed the seagulls. Thank you to the itinerary planners at the travel agency; this tour allowed participants plenty of time to enjoy Cape Kamui, and if one doesn't take the boat in Otaru, there is definitely enough time to explore Otaru to your heart's content. In the future, when visiting Hokkaido again, we will definitely prioritize the day tours offered by this travel agency.

My friends and I really enjoyed the trip. We thanked the driver and our skillful tour guide, Xiang Xiang (who was also good at taking photos), for doing such an excellent job throughout the journey.

Cape Kamui truly is a wonder of nature that shouldn't be missed, and this tour makes it accessible for those who don't have a car. Otaru is also a great town and really cute. Kevin was a wonderful tour guide. He was friendly, entertaining, knowledgeable and caring. He made the tour truly fun and memorable.
